Please read through all of this!
I have to say, I was so incredibly impressed with all of the submissions I got. It was so difficult to choose! But let's get to the winner for the theme "fake fairytale"...
A HUGE congratulations to @HannahGreer1 for winning the first contest with her story, "A Girl and her Fairy Tale"!
Go ahead and check out her profile!
Her story had great technique! She introduced the setting and the situation naturally in the first description, so I immediately knew what was going on. The concept is very original, and I've never seen anything like it. However, she had a very good grasp of what she wanted it to be like and the concept worked very well. She is very confident in her writing, and she incorporates emotion into little things, making every scene vivid. As for the theme, she had a very different approach that still showed her clear understanding and interpretation of the theme.
If you submitted something and you'd like the feedback I wrote for your submission, PLEASE go ahead and message me, including the title of your submission. I promise I won't bite! As a writer myself, I want you to improve and feel good about yourself!
Honestly, all of the submissions were so impressive! Remember, this isn't your last chance, and there will never be "a last chance". Keep writing, and keep showing your writing to the world. If you were out of luck this time, it doesn't mean you're a "bad writer," it JUST means that you were out of luck this time. So writers, get back on your keyboard and write something new!
Great job, everyone!
With love,
Luna😎
