Dippers POV

It's been almost a year since we left Gravity Falls, a lot has changed between my sister and I.
Firstly, we're officially, full fledge teenagers! No more prepubescent voice or girly sneezes. Within the past year I've grown almost half a foot, passing Mable in the process( she's not happy about that). We're out of middle school and next year we'll be freshmen in high school. I keep trying to tell Mable that high school won't be like the movies she sees on tv and no one sings randomly about their feelings and ambitions. But she won't listen.
Summer break has finally reached us and we've decided to go back to the place where we feel the most at home. Gravity falls. Sure, the town is full of monsters and the supernatural, but that's what gives it character. With bill gone, there was no threat of being thrown into the apocalypse at any given moment so they had a lot to look forward to. I can get back to my research on the town with the goal of expanding fords research and creating journals of his own.
But that's not all. Somehow, with the grace of god and Fords persuasive skills at their disposal, the mystery twins managed to convince their parents to move to gravity falls. Permanently. They found a house for sale in the sleepy town exactly 1 mile from the shack. Perfect for biking to and from the shack and the private study Ford gave dipper while he's on his adventures with grunkle Stan.
Mable has been bouncing off the walls for the past week because of this. Every night he could hear Mable FaceTiming Grenada and candy, counting down the days until she gets to see them again. Luckily for Dipper, the twins get separate rooms so he didn't have to worry about his sisters sleep overs any more. Although, not sharing a room with his sister felt wrong. But the twins father assured them that the rooms would be conjoined by a sliding door, so technically it was one room with a huge metal door that can separate them. This satisfies them both.
Just as Mable was keeping in touch with people from the town, so was dipper. Every day for the past year he has been in contact with the most beautiful, caring, and passionate girl in the entire world. Pacifica Northwest. His rock. His soul mate. His...... Princess. He couldn't wait to see her again. Those sea blue eyes and her silky blond hair, the way she tugs at his heart every time she sees it.
"Where are you?!? You were supposed to be here an hour ago. I'm...  I mean, we're at your house waiting for you." Pacifica says with anticipation in her voice. Dippers face glowed with her voice getting worried like that. She gets a little crinkle on the bridge of her nose. She hates it but dipper finds it adorable. Dipper loves to FaceTime Because of this reason. It give him a chance to see her beautiful face.
"Sorry Princess, we hit a pot hole getting into Oregon and dad and I had to change it. We should be there within the next half hour", dipper explains. He's been waiting a year to hold her again, and I'm sure she feels the same way. We've gotten to know every detail about each other over the past year but they longed to physically be there with each other.
"We'll get here quick, I have a surprise for youuuuu" she said teasingly. Next thing I know she's holding the hat I gave Wendy. My pine tree hat. She placed it on her head and gave me a wink and a kiss through the phone. Immediately after that, she hung up on him, leaving him with his own reflection in the tinted black screen with a face of awe and shock. I knew from right then and there that he loved this girl with all his heart, and that she was gonna get him in trouble this summer.
He didn't care though. All he could think of is her, and wait awaits him in 30 minuets.

*Btw, two long ass chapters in one night? You're welcome ladies😏. Just kidding I'm doing this cause I got a fever for this ship. See ya soon!
