Dreams Do Come True

Pacifica POV( long chapter FYI)

Pacifica's dreams always started the same. She sat in the darkness, the pitch black void consuming every ray of light and all the hope she's ever had. Then, the ear piercing sound of that damn bell echoes inside her head. Her parents rose from the darkness, towering over her. Their faces visible with hatred and disappointment towards her. She had to be perfect at everything and disrespect everyone just to protect her family's name.
But, as quick as this hellish nightmare comes, it fades just as fast. Engulfing darkness interrupted by a light flickering on and off. On and off. Enough light to change the scenery to that of her parents secret room. The room with the paintings of what her family was really famous for. Lying, cheating, and deception.
She remembers everything about this night because it's when her life changed for the better. It's when she refused to be another link in the world worst chain. It's when HE inspired her. Dipper's always on her mind, so it's only fitting that he's in her dreams as well. She dreams about when he was kind to her when no one else was, seeing her for who she was and not who her parents were or how much money she had like everyone else did. Even when she hated herself, he refused to. He gave her that smile that makes stars seem dim And warms her cheeks with a blushing sensation.
She woke up in her bed with a smile on her face. Most days she woke up and he was the first thing on her mind. And she knew that she was his first thought too, because when she looked at her phone, he'd already sent him a good morning text. Pacifica giggles at the text because it's funny for her to see him put in a effort to make her happy. She knows he's been staying up all night for the past couple of weeks deciphering codes for his journal that he's creating and yet, he always mange's to wake up just to text her. And I love it.
"Today's the day!" She told herself. She has anxiously been waiting for this day since dipper told me about it a couple of weeks ago. I can't believe that he's going to come back to gravity Falls! And best of all, he's gonna be here for high school. I could only have dreamed of(and I have, multiple times). She brushes her fantasies aside and gets ready to go to the Pines's new house. It's only about 2 miles from the new house she lives in after her parents were kicked out of the manor.
I put on my purple tank top and my white jean jacket along with some jean shorts and black convers. Seeing how my family isn't as rich as we used to be, we don't have a limo anymore so I had to ride my bike to the house which I didn't mind. My parents losing all their money was actually a good thing for them. Her parents cared for her more, everyone stopped looking at her like she was an idol, and she started to fell like a normal girl. I did lose all of my friends though, but i realized they were only after my family's money so I didn't mind much.
I pulled up to the Pines house and let my bike rest against the 'for sale' sign that had the sold sticker slapped across it. I pulled out my phone and looked at the time. 4:30. He's running late. A wave of emotions take over as I get angry and anxious and paranoid all at the same time. But this all goes away when I look at the screen saver. It's a picture of dipper and I at his and mables going away party, one of the only ones of us together. He's wearing that pine tree hat, and has that goofy smile on his face. Ever since the party at the mansion, I can't stop thinking how cute he is. Meanwhile I'm sorta blushing while he holds me in a awkward sideways hug.
"What's up Pax" Wendy says pulling me out of my hypnotic trance. I turn around and see everyone else coming from Soos' truck including Wendy, Soos, grunkle Stan and Ford( I'm still confused about that), Melony, Candy, and Grenda. More people keep coming by the minute. Soon the entire town would be there to welcome the twins back to the Falls. They basically think the Mystery Twins are the hero's of the town for saving them from the Weirdmagedion apocalypse.
"Oh, hey Wendy. You exited to see Mable again?" Pacifica replies, noticing that she has dippers hat on. Why did he give it to her, why couldn't I have kept it safe for him? Calm down girl it's just a hat. "Yea, im pretty stoked to see her again. Both of them actually. I haven't seen them in a year and Mable is going bonkers with plans for the summer" Wendy said. "So what does dipper say about your guys plans?" I ask, trying to see if dipper has been in contact with her. "I don't really know. the dude only talks to me when I FaceTime Mable, he hasn't contacted me himself." My heart skipped a beat when she said this. Dipper hasn't tried to talk to her, but he's FaceTimed me almost everyday. All of her jealousy escaped with this and she couldn't wait to see him.
"Can I borrow dippers hat for a second?" I asked Wendy. "Sure dude, you can even give it to him. Just make sure he gives my hat back, okay?" She said in a matter of fact tone. I then FaceTime him asking him where he's at. "Sorry Princess, we hit a pot hole getting into Oregon and dad and I had to change it. We should be there within the next half hour" he said. I could see he was in the car and trying to keep Mable off him.
       I thought I would tease him by putting on his hat thinking that I might catch is attention. I think I got it when I  see his jaw drop to his chest. I giggle and give him a wink and blow him a kiss. Then I hang up on him, making him want me more. She smiles to herself thinking of all the things they'll do this summer together. I'm going to get him in so much trouble.
