Chapter 4

"Hey Hazel, what's up?" Justin asked as he was coming down the stairs in his pajamas.

"A lot of thing really, like the roof, the sky, the clouds, airpl-"

"You know that's not what I mean." Justin said as he interrupted what I was telling him.

"I know," I said while rolling my eyes. "nothing really, just eating some cereal, although I was thinking about eating some ice cream."

"WOW, I should totally follow your eating habit!"

"Hey, at least I didn't!"

"Okay I don't know what you two are fighting about, but cut it out now." Our mom said as she walked into the kitchen.

"K mom." We said at the same time.

"Hey you want to go and hang out today?" Justin asked

"Yeah, sure."

"Alright, I'll be in the car waiting for you." He siad getting the car keys, telling mom something, then almost walking out the door.

"BUT YOUR STILL WAREING YOUR PAJAMAS!" I yelled out to him right before he walked out side.

He turned around and looked down at his plaid pants and white t-shirt. Then looked up and gave a sheepish smile well rubbing the back of his neck.

"Oh, right."

"How about you go and change into real clothes, and then I'll meet you in the car."

"Good plan." He said as he went up the stairs and to his room to change.

I headed up stairs to my room and did the same. I changed into black skinny jeans with some rips, a magenta tan-top, and black Converse. I put my hair up in a messy bun then put my ring on.

I said my love to my mom, grabbed my phone and headed out the door to Justin's car.

"Justin, where are we going?" I asked once I saw that we were just making a bunch of turns.

"You'll see, just wait." He said in response.

"Are we going to the fair?"

"No."

"ARE WE GOING TO DISNEYWORLD!?"

"No."

"Okay fine, then give me a hint."

"No."

"REALLY! Just tell me!"

"No matter how much you beg, I won't tell you or give you any hints."

"Fine, then I'll guess myself." I said thinking of more things to guess.

"Oh yeah that reminds me, go in the glove box and put on the blindfold that's in there."

I just stared at him with wide eyes.

"Ummm, what?"

"Don't worry, just because I'm out of basic training doesn't mean I'm just going to kill you or something."

"Yeah, because what you just said to me, totally doesn't sound like you're trying to kill me or something."

"Hazel, can you just trust me."

"Fine!" I said throwing my hands up and hitting my handes on the roof of the car because I forgot there was one, then looked in the glove box and saw there definitely was a blindfold and put it on like he asked.
