*Tay's POV*
I stared at the man who was supposedly Lyssa's brother. The man who, along with his band, had saved mine and Lyssa's life. I couldn't move. But Lyssa ran up to her mother and started shouting.
'Why didn't you tell me?!'
'I felt no need to.' She replied, folding her arms across her chest with a smug smile. 'He's exactly like you. Worthless. And I wish I'd never had any of you'
'I'll leave then!'
'Do what the fuck you like, no one wants you anyway.'
Gerard stepped in.
'I want her.' She turned to him, stunned.
'That's it then'
They all looked at me. My eyes brimmed with tears and threatened to spill. Lyssa was the only person who wanted me and now she was leaving me aswell. She was leaving with my idol and I'd never see her again.
'What?'
'Nothing.. Have fun wherever you're going and leaving me behind.' I stormed out of the house before they could stop me. I ran to the park and broke down on the bench.
*Lyssa's POV*
Oh no. she thinks i'm leaving her.
'Gerard, are you sure this is what you want?'
'You're my little sister. Of course.'
'But, Tay.'
'What about her?'
'I'm all she has...' I launched into telling him everything and he listened quietly.
'We're not leaving her behind. Let's go find her.'
'Let me pack my stuff first.'
I ran upstairs and packed my clothes, posters, my bass and my camera. We shoved them into Gerard's rental car before climbing in and driving to Tay's favourite place. The whole time, my mother was no where to be seen.
'So, when do you finish school?'
'In 4 Weeks.'
We turned to the park and saw Tay sitting on the bench, she had her hood up and was staring into space with her headphones in. she was twirling something shiny between her fingers.
'Tay!' I yelled and ran into the park.
I yanked her sleeves up and saw 4 lines on her left wrist.
'No, Tay, why?'
'Everything, the girls at school and you leaving.'
'You're coming with me'
She looked at me puzzled.
'It's true.' Gerard piped up walking towards us with the first aid kit from the car. he set to work patching Tay's arm up while she stared at her scars in disgust.
When he was finished he took both of our hands and asked where Tay lived so we could get her stuff. We drove to her house and left a note, her parents were out. She walked straight to her room, avoiding her brother's room and began packing. She packed the same as me, but she also packed her art stuff, a few pieces of art work and her acoustic guitar. As we were leaving her brother walked in.
'What's this?'
'I'm leaving, and i'm getting away from you'
'No you're not!' He punched Tay in the face and tried to drag her upstairs. to his room. I felt sick. Oh God. Gerard jumped forward and punched her brother, grabbed Tay and her stuff and ran out of the house. the guys shared a house for when they were in the UK and we'd be staying with them. I breathed a sigh of relief. We were free. I turned to Tay who had a bruise forming around her eye. Bastard.
