There's no thrust in relationships these days
Just public displays of affection
or PDA's to the abbreviation afflicted,
short-hand speaking, touch-screen tapping,
apathy affected younger generation
Thrust counts for quite a considerable
portion of the magic sickly potion
of love at first sight, not online
in person in the flesh, not to
be discussed, cast to an open forum
as a closed question where's the
Thrust gone? Masked by perfume
Quickly constructed lines which
are plain an' simple lies, weak
almost polite hugs an' clearly
awkward air-kisses, How would
a person know there wanted, lusted
desired if not for Thrust? Never the less
not to be missed is a point here
don't get me wrong this only concerns
the lucky in love an' as for the rest
Some distance and discretion
is a positive move, Thrust must be
earned no use shoving hips with
a stranger when you've nothing to prove
just don't be a weirdo nor a dog in
a manger, I am talking of a sneaky
sofa snuggle pre-dinner or a sudden
embrace post-hell (work for most)
Thrust will serve you well a skip
of the hip in appreciation of a sultry
emotion we can share with another,
An' Ladies, I implore you take
our Thrust its what you all hoped for,
Covet ours rather than a neighbours
an' we can all revel in its grace
Thrust... Thrust... Thrust...
liberates the love of the entire race.
