Dré and I stop and stare towards the door. In walks Natalie.
"What are you guys doing here?" She asks as if the obvious can't be pointed out.
"Dancing. That's what." I answer.
"How'd you get in?"
"None of your-" i start
"I let ourselves in ok? If you're going to taddle it won't do good im always here after rehersals anyway." Dré says.
"Whatever" Natalie tosses her head.
"Are you guys gonna leave or so because unlike you guys coming in whenever you want, I actually booked studio time." Natalie says.
"I doubt there's a sign up." I say.
"Can i talk with Camille?"
"Whatever you have to say can be said right here right now."
"Nevermind. I'll give you guys a few minutes to wrap up your little practice." Natalie strolls out of the studio.
"Are we actually going to listen to her Dré?" i ask
"I dont want to but we'll continue this tomorrow ok?"
"Well i'll stay here."
"Do you really want to get in trouble?"
"Fine." We pack up our stuff and leave . Outside the door Natalie and her friends hang around .
I head home and start thinking about today. It was such a nicew thing to actually dance. If we continue this we could show this to the AS's and maybe they'll let me back in.
I sound desperate but bronzies isn't for me. I need the drive and force and dedication of dance. Not just dancing for showcases.
I go to bed with my homework sprawled around me, dreaming sweet dreams.
