30 minutes later....

We arrive at the hospital and I see Ethan tearing up and tensing so I grab his hand to calm him down... It works. "Isabelle" Ethan says quietly. "Yes" I say. " do... Do you think that my mum will get better and we'll go on like it's another day?" He whispers "I.... I don't know" I say giving him a sad look. We arrive at his mums room. She's just laying there with an oxygen mask on and her eyes half closed. I gasp lifting my hand up to my mouth. My eyes start to tear up."it's ok... I'm ok, I'm..... I'm sorry" his mum says under her breath. " you have nothing to be sorry for, it's not your fault some people don't have brains and don't know how to drive!" I say with a glistening look. " I know, it's just..... I haven't told Ethan yet" she pauses. " told me what?" Ethan saying looking confused. " I, I met someone new" she mutters. "What?" Ethan says looking rather mad. " I said th-" " no I heard what you said, but why and how come you didn't even have the common decency to tell me about this!" He screams with cutting her off but shocked on how he said it. " well if that's how you feel" his mum says with tears in her eyes. " mum I didn't me-". He stops to see his mum passed out. "MUM" he says shaking her. " MUM MUM WAKE UP" he says screaming banging his fists on the bed. "ISABELLE GO GET A DOCTOR" he says panicking. "AHH OK!" I say really scared and shocked at what's happening.

5 minutes later.....

" I have a doctor!" I say. The doctor quickly goes up to her. Checks her pulse. " phew she's still breathing" he says. He fixes her oxygen cord but suddenly she wakes up, takes of the oxygen mask and says....... "Wait,..... Who. Who are you?. Ethan is in shock. Wait... IM IN SHOCK. We look at each other than her than look at each other and than her. " you... You don't know who I am?" Ethan says with tears scrolling onto his cheeks. " um no but please tell me who are you?" She says "um" he sniffles. " I'm Ethan...... Your son." He says looking at the floor. I hug him and he hugs me back tight. " um if your my son..... Then who's this girl?" She says. " um Mrs Karpathy I'm Ethan's girlfriend" I say awkwardly. "oh" she says. " but why is she not remembering me?" Ethan asks the doctor. " well Ethan" he continues, " it looks like your mother has a bad case of amnesia and obviously does not remember to much. " wait... Where's hank?" His mum asks. " who's hank?" I whisper in Ethan's ear. " um he's my dad" he says sadly. " mum" Ethan says. " dad is dead" Ethan says sighing. " last time I remember is being with him at a restaurant getting ready to talk about something serious, I don't remember all of it" his mum says crying. " well mum... He's dead now" Ethan says about to break into tears so I come up to give him a big bear hug and let him cry on my shoulder for a while. I start crying as well so we look like a bunch of waterfalls crying on each other. I finally pull back and kiss him on the check. He wipes his tears on his jumper sleeve and we both say bye to his mum than leave the hospital to go to school.
