Chapter Twenty

Sarah is now lying at her bed. For her, this day is a very tiring one since she did left and right commitments; rehearsal, some photo shoot, and some extra errands. She have to finish those or at least lessen her work when the shoot of her and Gerald’s movie starts. 

When she is about to close her eyes

Beep. Beep.

Beep.

Phone ringing…

She get her phone from her bag and hit the answer button.

“Hello” she said yawning

“Buti naman sinagot mo na” she heard him with his serious tone

“Ha?”

“Kanina pa kasi ako nagtetext, hindi ka naman nagrereply, akala ko tuloy galit ka. Galit ka ba?” she heard him

“Gerald, inaantok na ako. Pwede bukas na lang?” she subconsciously answered.

“Okay” she heard him and instantly he ended the call.

Hala, binabaan ako.. nagalit ba yun?

After realizing what she did, she then attentively scan her phone

Almost everything are from him. She opened some and read it

From: Gege

Good Morning MS! May shoot ka ngayon? :)

Gege: Tulog ka pa? :) Gising na Sasa, tanghali na po.

Gege: Hmm. Maybe you’re already up. Ingat na lang kung may pupuntahan ka ngayon. :)

Gege: I guess you’re very busy today. :) Basta ingat lagi! :)

Gege: Good eve! Dinner ka na baby girl! :)

Gege: Still, no reply from you. :(

Gege: Baby girl, galit ka ba sa akin? Sorry kung may nagawa akong mali. :(

Gege: I’m really sorry baby girl. :(

Having a very hectic day and a determination to do her best for all she do lets her forget to check her phone. She is very focused on her work that she had no time to atleast hold it.

Ano ba yan.. Ngayon ka pa talaga nagtampo?! Kung kelan naman sobrang pagod ako. Nako, Gerald! Bahala ka nga! Tss.

She put her phone on her table, go back to bed and closed her eyes. She tried to sleep but all of his texts are now playing on her mind, even his voice she heard a while ago bothers her.

She get her phone again and texts him

To: Gege

Pasensiya na kung hindi ko nasagot mga texts mo kanina. Sobrang busy lang.

After some minutes of not receiving a reply from him, she then decided to continue her sleep. But after what she read, it’s an impossible thing for her to do so she get her phone again and texts him.

To: Gege

Sorry na! :(

Minutes have passed and still no reply from him. She can’t sleep and now she’s thinking what to do. She go downstairs and get some food. She decided to watch t.v.

Beep.

Sorry ha. Akala ko kasi may nagawa akong mali. You know, It really bothers me kung hindi kita nararamdaman. Feeling ko kasi bigla bigla kang mawawala sa buhay ko.
