The days flied by quickly. Soon enough all of the guests had arrived, and people had started putting their names in the cup. Dumbledore had put an age line around it to make sure nobody under seventeen could enter. But that didn't stop the twins. "We'll brew an aging potion!" Fred said. "Brilliant! Only, we don't know how to make one..." At that moment, they all stared at me. I sighed. "Fine. But you're helping." "Yes ma'am!" They saluted me in unison. The Yule Ball was coming up, and I still didn't have a date. Fred spends less time with us, as if we're boring. Lee has been studying his tale off, so that just left me and George. Malfoy has been extra nasty lately. I try to avoid him, but he always seems to find me. We stayed up late that night, brewing. Finally, Fred said, "I'll take over. You get some rest." "Thanks!!!" I said giving him a quick kiss on the cheek, and running up to bed. I looked back to see him rubbing his cheek where I kissed him. I flushed and slapped myself. Why did u do that? A nice 'thank you' was all you had to say. I climbed in bed, not even changing.
I woke up, took a shower, put on a little makeup, and went down to see how the boys turned out. "We were waiting for you!" George called. "You wanna enter?" Fred asked. Like I was hypnotized, I said yes. "How about you Lee?" George asked. "I'll do it. Why not." There was quite a bit of aging potion, and we only needed to take a small sip each, so I wasn't worried we weren't going to have enough. Harry and Ron watched us each take a sip. A few kids took their phones out to record. One of them was my old friend, Cedric. "You got this!" He shouted words of encouragement. I gave him a thumbs up, and looked at Fred. We all held hands, and on the count of three, we all jumped in. Everyone screamed and cheered us on. We all were about to put our names in, when a huge wave of air blasted us back. Then, George, Fred and Lee gained beards as long as Dumbledore's. I however, didn't change at all. "You three need to get to the hospital wing!" I screamed, worried for them. George and Fred were about to get into a fight, so I grabbed their ears, and Lee's hand, which made him blush, and dragged them to Madame Pomfrey. She took one look at them, and shook her head. She sat them down, and started removing their beards. "Uh, Madame Pomfrey, I have a question." She looked up from Lee's beard. "Yes dear?" "How come I didn't grow a beard?" "We didn't expect proper ladies to break the rules." Fred and George snorted. I just glared at them. "And also, for a boy, beards are normal, but for a girl, that would have been just plain cruel to put that spell on you." "Oh, well, thanks, I think..."
