I turned to see Nate coming towards me
"What?" I asked mad that he defends a girl like her
"Vanessa can't you see I like you?" He said scratching the back of his neck
"Boy don't lie to me"I said annoyed
"I'm serious"he said holding my hands
"Nate don't do this.Go back to your girl"I said feeling bad
"No I like you alot"
"Nate I have a date with Derek"I said making his eyes widened
"What?"he said quietly
"Look I'm sorry but I got to go"I said walking away

Seeing her walk away hurt but Derek is my friend and I guess I have to except the fact that she's with him now
