IN THE LONELY HOUR (TVD)

Chapter 1.

Jade.

well hello It's jade I have moved to Mystic Falls after my mum and dad passed away in a house fire so the only living family member is my mum's sister Sarah, she lives Virginia, aka 'Mystic Falls'. never heard of the place in my whole life my mum never talked about it and really never talked about her sister. so you can guess Im off to live with my aunt i do not know and only found out about her from the police two nights ago. *Yay for me* that's a joke i don't want to go. but the police are not keen on letting someone which no job or family in scotland live on the streets. That's why I'm sat on a plane right now on the way to America.

*Jade's POV*

The plane has just landed in Virginia and know i need to try find my aunt in this busy airport. i was walking out the tunnel and seen a woman that looked a little like my mum and with "Jade Smith" on a piece of paper on it. well that's my aunt then i said to myself as i stopped and looked at her for a bit before i started to walk again to her.

i stopped in front of her, "Hi guess your my aunt then" i said to her and she smiled at me and it hit me how much she really looks like my mum. "Hi Lovely just call me sarah we better got get your bags got a long drive to Mystic falls" sarah said to me and we walked to the bag arna.

we got in to her car, she started it up "You must be hungry? it's over two hours to get the house" sarah asked me. "Yes I'm" i said back to her then looked out the car window. "Ah don't looks so worried lovely there's a lot of children around your age" sarah said to me. and i wanted to to scream at her but i did not" I'm not a child I'm 17" i said back to her.

we stopped off and got some food in and cafe. Then soon we are back on the road. my aunt kept trying to ask me things which i talked back to her but like one word at a time. I just need time to get my head around all of thing its going to take time for me. I must have fell asleep as when i opened my eyes i felt the car stop and we were outside a house. "That's use here jade" sarah said to me. I got out the car and looked all around me and stopped when i was facing the house again. "Don't need to look scared sweetie everything will be fine just give it time too" I heard sarah say to me. I looked to the right of me and give her a little smile and then see two people making their way up the drive.

"Oh Hi Elena and stefan, this is Jade i was telling you about her coming to stay with me" Sarah said to the girl and boy. They both looked at me and smile "Nice to met you jade" Elena said and Stefan just smile. "yeah nice to meet you both" i said back. "I just live next door just thought it would be nice to come and meet you so now you know someone your age." Elena said to me. " "Thank you it means a lot" i said to her. "Would you like to come to the grill with us tonight you can meet our friends that's if you would like to" she asked me. "Yes that would be nice thanks for asking me too" i said to her. " Oh good will i will come and get your around 8:30 then." "Okay thanks" i said to her. "Okay then bye then see you later" the both said to me and the walked off down the drive. " yeah see you later" me and my aunt walked in to the house and she showed me around and i had made my mind up to get my room how i wanted it to be like till i went out tonight.
