You're new to all of this. All of the cars, the trains, the noise, oh the noise. Oh my god, you sound like the grinch, Jim Carrey is great. You were scared, oh so scared, but when you get scared, you become bitchy. At least you had your music and your mom. Your dad died while in Afghanistan. People always tell you that you must miss him, but you don't. It's like when you say a word over and over and over, becoming bland and dull. But now it's time to start over, a clean slate.
This is a new year, to make acquaintances (hopefully). You were walking in those sad, miserable days. You were listening to y/f/a (your favorite artist) and feeling absolutely amazing. Midtown was the new school you were going to, you were kind of a genius. In Minneapolis, you went to the university for science and math, which is exactly what the school was for, so you were set. Your new apartment was in Queens, meaning that you had to take the subway, which was good with its perks, such as the people. You loved people, their emotions, their insecurities, and their overall feelings. But people have no clue about that because... well, no one cares. You haven't met anyone who cares about your feelings except for Olivia, who was amazing. She was your only true friend who you could talk to with issues, like the whole liking dudes thing. The train suddenly stops as you were thinking about her, and your confidence is obliterated. "SHit..." you yell, until you realize that the old people were giving you some nasty looks. As you were waking. You were used to this weather, ice, small amount of snow, and so much wind. You were fine, you never slip, but when others do, it's hilarious. Speak of the devil, right as the beat drops to y/f/s (your favorite song). He sits there in awe of what just happens, and look at you. His curly brown hair still bounces slightly as he sits there in the middle of the sidewalk so awkwardly. You laugh and wink at him before walking away. You could feel his eyes staring back at you, as your confidence regrows.
A/N: Thank you so much for this, and I hope you like it! Sorry this is short, it'll be longer next
