"I'm sorry but what?" chapter 27

I woke up the next day wrapped in a pair of strong muscular arms.

"morning babe" He said in his deep morning voice.

Instantly of felt the adrenaline coursing through my veins. I don't know where it came from but I like it. Kai got out of bed and went in the bathroom to brush his teeth and yada yada.

"Baby" I heard him yell in that voice "where's the-" I cut him off by jumping in his arms.

"I'll go all many rounds as you want as long as you keep talking." I quickly said.

Then you know exactly what happened next.

2.5 hours later.

Oh my god that was something. I try to stand up but I quickly fall back on the bed.

"We are never doing this again"

"Wanna bet"

"No" I yell.

"With that voice it's like I'm under a spell."

"I know" He said seductively

"Ok, really that's enough I'm hungry"

"Damn,  hope you've really been eating. And you've kinda gained a-"

I snap my head toward him and give him the I-dare-you-to-finish-that-sentence glare.

"Really big heart" He said nervously.

I quickly got up and threw on some clothes. I practiced my walking before making my way downstairs. As I do I see all the eggs and bacon and pancakes.

"Wow, you're finally outa that room and off of my sons little Jr" Kalah said. "But then again I haven't seen it in a few years"

I look over at the food and instantly I want to throw up. I run to the bathroom and empty my stomach.

"Hope honey, can I come in?" Kalah ask.

I quickly flush the toilet and brush my teeth.

"Yea" I said.

Kalah walked in and made her way to the cabinet. She pulled out a little bag and sat me on the toilet.

"Hope? You've been throwing up for a while now and I'm a little worried. Not only as a mother but as an adult as well. So I want you to take a few of these."

She pulled out 5 pregnancy test and placed them in my hands. "I'm going to go finish breakfast and keep my kids distracted while you do em ok"

All I could do was nod my head.

15 minutes later

In five minutes my whole world would either be corrupted or the same. I pace around in the bathroom just waiting for the alarm on my phone to go off. When it does I call kalah and slowly approach one of the test.

"Positive... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. Positive.. .. .. .. .. ..   Positive" As I'm going through the test the tears are just falling. "Positive and positive" I finish.

Instantly I break down crying. I feel kalah come Over and hug me but that didn't stop or help anything. We take a pic of all the test and then put them in a plastic bag. Finally we burn it in the back yard and scatter the ashes in the kitchens garbage can. Yes I know we're being extra but I don't care. I sit at the kitchens island and slam my head down on the counter. Again I begin crying. I feel arms wrap around me but I don't even move. I just lay there. Then I feel myself being lifted. Now I know it's Kai. I can smell his body spray. He walks upstairs and slowly places me in the bed. I then feel  him climb in and wrap his arms around me. I just laid there thinking about this little thing growing inside me. Then I thought "my life has been pretty boring" I decided I was going to have as much fun as I could for the next 3 months. I wouldn't drink or smoke obviously but I was going to have fun.
