Percy's POV
I stood staring at empty space at the sword arena. I just kissed Nico di Angelo. And... He kissed back. And... He moaned. Okay, it seemed like he liked it, so why did he run? Ugh, I'm so confused. And happy. And my heart is just fluttering with joy. And confused. Can't forget about the confused part.
My thoughts were interrupted when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see Piper standing there, a wide grin on her face. "Uh, hey, Piper. How's it going?" I asked in an attempt to not melt into a puddle of mass joy and confusion.
"You kissed Nico!" she practically squealed. I covered her mouth and looked around to make sure that no one heard. She looked at me with her most charming eyes and said, "Let go of me, Percy." Although it was muffled by my hand, I still heard loud and clear and my hand moved off her face.
"Don't do that!" I said, slightly offended she charm-spoke to me. "And please don't tell anyone," I begged, although I'm sure she wouldn't have, even if I hadn't asked her.
"Oh, don't worry, I won't."
"Good," I said, starting to walk away. Maybe to go to my cabin, I don't know. There it's easier to think. Piper started to follow me. "Can I help you?" I asked, not really wanting to talk to anyone and instead wallow in my feelings for the small Italian ball of angst that I just kissed.
"Um, I need to talk to you about what you just did with the creepy son of Hades. Don't think I'll brush it off so easily."
"How did you even see that anyway? There was that wall of light surrounding us." And it was true. There had been that wall that made seeing the outside world impossible, but could the outside world see us...? Talk about creepy.
Piper shrugged, continuing to walk beside me. "Well, I'm guessing that the light was created by Aphrodite. You know, since there was so much sexual tension going on between you two," she said, grinning. "But don't worry. Other children of Aphrodite weren't too busy trying to focus on what was happening inside the wall, like me. They were worrying about if the wind messed up their hair. I'm sure if they saw they would be gossiping and it would be all around camp in a matter of seconds."
As we reached the Posiedon cabin, Piper walked right in, as if she owned the place. She plopped down on my bunk and crossed her legs, looking up at me with innocent eyes. "What?" I asked, starting to feel a little uncomfortable. Piper is cool and all, but she was just way too beautiful without even trying. And then she didn't even seem to realize her beauty.
"Tell me the dirty secrets of your relationship with the Ghost King himself, you dummy! I may not seem like it, but I am a child of Aphrodite, you know." She patted a spot on the bunk next to her, obviously wanting me to sit down. "So. What has happened?"
I sighed, knowing I wouldn't win this one, and sat down next to her. "Well, truth is, I've had a crush on him for a while now. Annabeth knows and that's pretty much why we broke up. We both liked different people."
Piper rolled her eyes. "I know that, you idiot! Skip to the exciting part."
I sighed loudly and got up, throwing my hands in the air. "I don't want to talk about it, okay?" I walked around the cabin, trying to avoid Piper's gaze. Something told me that she'd charm-speak me as soon as she got the chance.
"Would if I told you that Jason may have the hots for Nico?" I heard Piper say from the bunk.
I spun around. "What? No. No, no, no. Nico is mine." I said, anger flowing through my veins. Then the anger cooled when I saw Piper holding in a laugh. And I realized something. I haven't acted so possessive about something in my life. Ever. Not even with Annabeth.

The Dorky Sea Prince
FanfictionPercy is a dork (a major one at that) and apparently that's what Nico fell in love with. It's really just two gay dorks with a really weird visit to Denny's, a rarely mentioned kitten, and friends that ship it hard thrown in somehow.
