Percy's POV
It had been a month. A month since I had heard Nico's breath-taking laugh. A month since we officially started dating. And it was awesome. I mean, we spent nights at each other's cabins, just streaming movies from Netflix and smuggling sodas and candy from the mortal world. We would talk and just... Be together.
But there was one thing that we still needed to do. Only a couple people knew that we were dating (those people being Annabeth, Piper, Jason, Frank, and Hazel... we hadn't told Leo because he rarely ever came out of Bunker 9 and we were afraid he'd tell), and besides them, everyone else just thought that Nico and I were really close friends. Oh, yeah. They wouldn't know how 'close' until we told them that our special friendship included mass amounts of kissing, cuddling, and tickling.
"Hey, Perce," Nico said, looking up from his spot on the ground in my cabin. We were just talking about our plans for spring break, maybe going to visit my mom or something. I hummed in response, looking up from my tragic drawing of a cat and resting my gaze on him. He looked deep in thought, tapping his purple crayon on the paper, and furrowing his eyebrows. "We should tell them."
I shrugged, thinking he was talking about my mom and Paul. "Well, yeah, I mean, I was planning on telling Mom and Paul-"
"No, I mean... them," he said, gesturing to the door of my cabin. "We should tell them." I sat back, dropping my brown crayon.
"Oh." He raised an eyebrow at me, leaning forward on his forearms, and biting his lip. I swallowed hard, knowing exactly what he was trying to do. Gods know he'd done it enough times when we were about to watch a sea documentary and not some horror movie that always made me squeeze him tight and bury my face in the crook of his neck when a scary part came on... Which was the whole movie. And for some reason, Nico loved that.
I cleared my throat, looking away and not at that stupid begging and quite seductive face that always made me cave to whatever he wanted. "Well, I mean... Are you sure?" I asked, my voice cracking when I sneaked another look at him and realized he'd gone on all fours and had started crawling toward me.
He sat on my lap and wrapped his arms around my waist, looking up at me with innocent eyes. "Yeah..." My heart beat faster. This was almost exactly the way he convinced me to watch a horror movie with him. Except, he usually told me that he needed me to be there for when he got scared so he could 'feel safe again.' Yeah, it also usually ended up the other way around when watching scary parts of the movie. He only needed me when the cheesy parts of the straight people who were stupid enough to be caught in the situation started kissing and telling each other 'it would all be okay.' Because then he would start screeching that 'their straightness hurts his gay eyes.'
"Okay, fine, we'll tell them. Tonight at the bonfire, okay?" His eyes lit up and he gave me a peck on the lips before squeezing me tight and getting up. He brushed off his tight, black, and ripped jeans, turning away. He looked back at me and gave me a smirk that I knew meant that his powers of seduction had worked yet again.
"Then it's settled. No come on, we've got to prepare." He turned away again, giving me an amazing view on his... Uh, back and other things that may or may not be lower than the back, and walked out the door.
~~~
"Uh, Neeks? What are we doing at the Apollo cabin?" I asked him, scratching the back of my neck and staring in confusion at the sunny cabin in front of us. I looked over at Nico and he just stared back at me, rolling his eyes.
The Dorky Sea Prince
FanfictionPercy is a dork (a major one at that) and apparently that's what Nico fell in love with. It's really just two gay dorks with a really weird visit to Denny's, a rarely mentioned kitten, and friends that ship it hard thrown in somehow.
