What? I woke up, suddenly looking at a village of some sort from a bird's eye view. What's happening? I called out. Didn't Demise just kill me? Am I alive still? I looked at my hands, which didn't have anymore blood on them. I looked back at the town down below me.

There were around fifteen or so wooden houses in this village, and it was built in the middle of a forest, with many large and ancient looking trees around it. Around the village, were some crops and a few barns for animals. The door opened in one of the houses, and a little blond haired boy walked out.

He was quite short and he was wearing handmade rancher like clothes, which were dirty. I was a little interested in the kid and maybe he can even tell me what's happening and where I am! I jumped down closer to the boy and landed in front of him. My feet made no sound as I landed on the ground from who knows how high. I stood in front of the doorway. Um, hello! I tried to say. Huh, weird. My voice doesn't make any noise.

The boy still had his head turned inside his home, so I couldn't get a look at his face. "Okay Grandma, I'm going out!" The boy cheerfully said. An older lady came into view from another room. "Okay dear, please be safe. You don't want your sister worrying, do you? And remember, please don't go into the deep woods!"

The little boy happily nodded and he seemed to act like his grandmother never said that last sentence. Heh, probably a little troublemaker. It reminds me of myself. I let out a chuckle. "Okay!" He cheerfully said and turned to face me. I got a good look at his facial features and I gasped. He had dirty blond hair and blue eyes just like me! Actually... He looks very similar to me. The boy shut the door and I tried to get his attention. Hey! I called out, I'm right here! I need help with something! The boy didn't make any reaction and walked right through me. It was almost if I was a ghos-Oh... I see...

I really am dead. I looked up to the heavens.

Okay, I see what's happening. I thought as I looked back to the child, who was running off to the forest. I hope you don't end up as I did.

I will be watching you. I hope you can finish my mission.

Good luck, Link.
