So here are some apps that help with covers. (For me anyways)
1)weheartit
Weheartit is an app that has tons of photos. (like Pinterest) In the search bar you can type in 'Photography' and there will be lots of photos to use for covers. You can also look at what other people got in there collections! This can be for the beginners! (It's totally free to Android and IPhone devises, but unfortunately not for Amazon)
2)Pinterest
I think we all know of Pinterest. If not, here it goes! Pinterest is just like weheartit, but without articles and all that other stuff. You can look up boards and see what other people have to make book covers! (Its practically the same as weheartit, but weheartit is a tad bit better) This is free to use to anyone!
3)Phonto
Phonto is an app that you get texts on your covers! If you want a different text than what they got, you can go to the website called dafont and another one I use is fontspace. These text websites are totally free to use. All you have to do is click the download button (it takes you to another page, 'Open in Phonto', click that, it will take you to your Phonto) then you hit they install button. You're all set then! Another thing with Phonto is you can buy more features, you can buy the eraser tool for text, which it also gives you the 3D text thingy (it is worth it). Then there's the texture pack thingy, I don't really use it; so yeah it was a waste of money. (Free to Android and I-phone devises)
4)Pixlr
Pixlr is an app that you can make people's skin tone the same or something. I don't really use it unless I have to make them look the same. It's still a good app to use though. It has other features too, but I don't really use them, so I can't tell you much about them. (Free to Android and I-phone devises)
5)Canva
Canva is an app that has banners, posters, book, etc. I only use Canva for making my book covers the right size for Wattpad. I have used it with some objects though. So Canvas iffy. I think everyone's heard of Canva though, so I won't talk much about it. (Free to Android and I-phone devises)
6)PicsArt
PicsArt is an great app to use! I use it like every-time I make a cover. In PicsArt you can make pngs, creative pictures, put designs on your book covers, etc. I will talk about the rest later in this book so stay in toon! (Free to Android and I-phone devises)
7) Enlight Photofox: Photo Editor
Photofox is an app that allows you to add things to your recent images and so on. This app is free but most things do cost money. The things that are free are helpful in a way. (Its kind of like PicsArt) You can add texts and erase text that's in the way, but there aren't many fonts. This app can be helpful to some. It took me a while to figure out the works of it, but you can manage it if you'd like the app, I guess. (Free, some parts cost money, on I-phone only)
8) Adobe Spark Post
I don't really use this. It's just like Canva in a way. I only used it once and it was a long time ago so I can't really tell you what it's like.
