I watched the woman leave in a hurry and the cashier throw her groceries to the side. The empty store sent chills down my spine, the quietness engulfed me like a blanket. I let my heavy sigh fill the store and ran my fingers through my tousled hair. "Mam, your total is 12.95." My eyes pierced into him. Reaching into my jeans I pulled out my gun and loosely pointed it at his head. A bead of sweat fell softly down his red flustered face.
