"Damn didn't think of that." I reply giggling. Me giggling, what am I becoming?
"I'm Glad you lack common sense. Hold on a sec." he said but I could still hear what was going on in the background.
"Who's on the phone?" a girl's voice asked
"Your sister" Alden reply and felt myself cringe, this is just what I need my sister becoming a drama queen and destroying any hope of us becoming friends again.
"Funny, who are you really on the phone to?" Kat asked obviously not amused at all. That's my sister, so proud to be related to her, so proud.
"Alexis Jenna Harding also knows as your sister and what's funny about that?" Alden asked his voice sounding annoyed.
"Um let's see, everything. Look I love you Alden I really do, your more like a brother to me than my own sister is to me, if that makes sense but I'm warning you now
it's really not a good idea to get her hopes up and try to be her friend, I mean she hasn't had friends in years she will become like really clingy and stuff." she said.
I can't believe her, I mean I know she is a total bitch but she's usually not this mean to me, I mean she just said that I'm not even really a sister to her. What's with that?
God I hate her right now.
"And whose fault is that? Think she purposely chose not to have friends?" Alden asked dangerously, they both have either forgotten that I'm on the phone or they just don't really care. It's only me, not like I have feelings.
"Whatever just take me advice and stay away from her, you'll regret it otherwise. I only have your best interests at heart." Kat said and I could pretty much imagine the innocent smile she would have planted on her face without having to even sees her.
"My best interests at heart? Maybe your right..." the line cut off and I was left listening to a simple beep beep beep.
I can't believe the betrayal I just had to witness, by my own sister for that matter. I feel tears begin to itch at my eyes as I realise that my dream of becoming friends with Alden again had just been crushed all over again. I won't let myself cry, not again. You're an idiot for believing that he'd wanted the friendship back as much as you do did, god I hate myself I just humiliated myself all over again. I manage to get into the safety of my car before the waterfall of tears overcomes me.
Yeap, best start to the summer ever.

A sudden crash somewhere in the house wakes me from my dreamless sleep and makes me sit up straight in bed. I strain my ears for another noise, praying that we're not being robbed.
Next thing I know my bedroom door is flung open and my bedroom light is flicked on. My eyes burn at the sudden light and I am forced to be temporarily blinded.
"He-eyy favourrrite twin!" I hear a loud shrill voice laugh out. Why am I not surprise it's Kat, why couldn't have been robbers at least they'd leave you alone once they took everything from you.
I only just gain control of my eye sight when a crushing pain surges through my leg, guess the she devil has decided to take a seat, why not on my legs? Not like I need them.
"What do you want Kat?" I ask beyond shitty at her, first she betrays me by crushing any chances I had with reconnecting with Alden, then she wakes me up at god knows what time, attempts to break my legs, not to mention causing my eyes to burn twice today. So yeah it's safe to say she's not my favourite person right now.
