*One year later*Y/N's POV:
The night is quiet.
Occasional cars drive past, but the sky is asleep. I walk down the sidewalk, towards the club that is coming into view now. Its neon lights stand out from the rest of the shops on the street.
I'm in university now. My grades went up a significant amount since I had met Jungkook, resulting in a higher level of classes and a very successful graduation.
I brought myself up since the incident. The reason being that I knew he would be watching me from some place. I didn't want to disappoint him, like I did with my sister. And I won't let her down either.
When I had woken up at the hospital after the incident, my memory was vague. I barely remembered anything that happened past the fight with Jungkook. Apparently I was unconscious for a few days. But as my memory slowly came back, I missed him more and more.
On the other hand, when my dad found out about the stabbing, he was the first person I saw when I woke up. He bursted out crying, and honestly, so did I. He apologized for detaching himself from me and I told him it was my fault. We talked it out and had the conversation we both really needed. So him and I are back to how we used to be, like we were before my sister died. I guess he was scared of losing both of his daughters to a mysterious murder.
Now, I spend my weekends dancing at clubs, losing myself in the music to take away the memories of Jungkook. But it's the alcohol that does most of that. At least temporarily. But I wake up to swollen eyes from crying the night before.
When I make it to the door of the glowing building, I show the man who guards the door my ID. I then start heading through the glass doors and into the room of bright lights.
The floor vibrates at the booming music, the air slightly humid at the amount of people dancing the night away. It's a drastic different from the cool, night atmosphere that I was just in a few seconds ago. I walk over to the bar, taking a stool and watching the bartender walk up to me.
"Hey, Y/N, your usual?" His arms are covered in beautiful tattoos, his black t-shirt showcasing the name of the nightclub on the front. He smiles warmly at me, and I nod with a grin. He seems intimidating on the outside, but he's actually just a giant teddy bear.
He makes the drink quickly and I pay him, before taking a sip and watching the crowd on the dance floor. All of them dance the night away, jumping around and drinks spilling all over one another. I feel content, and slightly amused at the intensity of it all.
I'm broken out of my thoughts when I suddenly spot a person sliding into the seat next to me from the corner of my eye. I break my gaze from the people to the figure who sits beside me now.
It's a man, about the same age as me, and he has jet black hair that is swiftly styled up. He wears a simple white t-shirt and ripped black jeans. He orders a drink before facing me, and I cock my head a little in curiosity. Is he going to talk to me?
"Come here often?" He asks with an eyebrow raise. I cringe internally at that. So cliché.
"I guess you could say that," I remain polite, smiling softly at the mysterious man as I take another sip of my fruity drink.
"I've never seen a woman as gorgeous as you around here, I just had to say something." He winks, and I roll my eyes in a joking manner, blushing slightly at the compliment. Please.
"Thank you, and you're not too bad yourself," I compliment, placing down my drink and watching as his lip curls into a smirk. My expression falters a little, when a certain someone pops into my head. But I remain calm.
