Chris's POV
So the girl I saw and admired at the beach was actually lizzys sister! What a coincidence! She was looking so stunning, her tattoos in all the right spots, her beautiful brown eyes, she's just mysterious in a beautiful way.
Tonight we decided to take Davina out to celebrate her graduation. She walked out of lizzys room looking gorgeous, I just wanted to know more about this girl. She stood at the island with adin and I, and slipped on a water.
" what did you graduate from?" Adin asked leaning on his elbows
" I got my bachelors degree." She smiled looking back and forth between us
" holy shit that takes like 3 or seven years to accomplish, how long did it take you?" I asked
She turned to me leaned on her elbows seeing as how I had ended up on mine like how adin was.
" it took me 4 years to finish." She said and I swear she caught me with those beautiful brown eyes and i let my guard slip just for a minute
" everyone ready?" Lance asked as we all nodded and walked out of the apartment
Lizzy and lance got in their car while adin, Davina and I were in my car. She sat next to me in the passenger seat and we took off for the cheese cake factory.
We arrived at the restaurant and got inside to be seated. We were seated right away and I sat next to Davina with lance and Lizzy on the other side and adin at the head of the table.
" all hail your king." Adin said in a dramatic voice raising his wine glass
" oh shut up the only thing you're king at is drinking protein shakes." Davina came back and we all OOO'ed besides adin
" and you know what? Your damn right, but I'm also better at other things. Adin said smoothly and she shook her head
" I want to make a toast." Lance said standing up
" to 4 long years of not having miss Davina back with us but she's here now and graduated and ready for a new life, to new beginnings!" He said and we all clinked glasses before the waiter came by to take our food orders
As Lizzy lance and adin got into a convo I found myself wanting to know more about Davina.
" so is your mom lizzys mom or?" I asked sipping on my wine
" oh no, different moms same dad, so I'm like her half sister but still blood." She said setting her glass down
" do you have any siblings?" She asked me
I shook my head and she nodded as the food came. We all ate and chatted about what to do next so we decided to just walk around the grove we stopped at a few stores and all got a couple of things before we headed back to Lizzy and lances apartment.
When we got back we set everything down and sighed.
" I haven't eaten that much in forever." Adin said holding his stomach leaning on the island in the kitchen
" you're telling me I feel like I'm 5 months pregnant over here." Davina laughed holding hers as well
"You're not though right?!" Lizzy asked peeking from out of her room
" Liz you already know I'm not having kids until later in life, I'm only 22." Davina said laughing
" it's definitely food coma time." I said leaning my head back as Davina came and sat next to me
I jumped a bit when she sat down but instantly let my guard down, I don't know what it is about this girl but she's intriguing. Like I just want to know all about her, her dreams, her goals, like damn. I haven't felt this way since lances sister and that's why I always have a guard up. After things ended between her and I nothing was never really the same.
" I feel like I could pass out.." she sighed softly stretching her legs out across the long side of the couch
" do you have a place to stay tonight?" I asked looking over at her
" I actually do not I was staying with my best friend darion for 2 weeks before Lizzy said she was gonna help me find an apartment." She said shaking her head
" well you can gladly take my bed." I said
" if that's you trying to get me in your bed just to sleep with you it didn't work." She laughed and I chuckled with a small smirk
" I may come off as a bad boy but I really didn't mean it like that, I'd take the couch." I said looking at her analyzing her face, realizing she's more than beautiful.
" I can't let you do that, I'm sorry.." she said and I shook my head
" your bags are already in my room, no changing that, so I'm sorry too." I smirked and she rolled her eyes nudging me a little.
As everyone got tired, adin left then lost and lance went to bed but as for me I can't sleep with her on my mind knowing I can't be in there with her.
