Davina's POV
We pulled into a diner that was 2 hours away from where Alex had taken me and held me captive.
" here if you wanna go change." Lance said handing me a duffle bag and we walked into the diner and I squinted my eyes through the brightness. I went to the bathroom and changed into the leggings and the tank top and my adidas that lance brought me.
I wish he brought me a jacket... and lucky enough I found one in the duffle bag. I walked out of the bathroom and sat down across from lance.
" where's chris?" I asked worried remembering that he didn't get into the car with us
" they are gonna be here shortly." Lance said and I nodded
" they?" I asked and he chuckled
" yeah Lizzy and adin came to help as well, we told you we loved you D." He smiled and I partly smiled only because my face hurt so damn much I couldn't bring myself to fully smile.
All of a sudden I see chris start to walk up and I speed out of the diner and into his arms.
" hey babygirl, it's okay you're safe, you're with us no one is gonna hurt you, and I'm so sorry for breaking my promise that he would never hurt you..." chris rambled as he set me down
I just smiled and grabbed his face kissing his lips softly. His hands came around my waist and held me close. We pulled away then went inside the diner to eat.
After we ate we finished our journey back home and I fell asleep on chris.
When we got home he helped me to my apartment. I went to my room turning on the shower. I undressed and looked at my body... bruises everywhere... I didn't realize how bad he hurt me.. chris entered the bathroom and his mouth dropped a little..
" he did this.." he said softly tracing his fingers over the bruises
All I could do was cry remembering what Alex did to me.
" hey it's okay, you're home now baby and I'll take care of you don't worry.." he whispered in my ear while hugging me
I got into a shower and spent an hour in there before getting out and slipping on my black lace thong and matching brallette. I threw on my red silk robe and walked out of the room to see chris making food.
" feel better beautiful?" He asked as I stood behind him and wrapped my arms around him.
" I feel clean but not better.." I said softly getting a water bottle from the fridge.
" what happened babygirl, please tell me.." chris said fixing two plates
"Well when we were at the banquet hall he stopped me when I went to the bathroom and held a rag to my face then things went black and I woke up in that room my head feeling fuzzy. Then he walked in and I can't even remember what he said to me but all I do know is he hit me multiple times and raped me.." I mumbled the last part
" he raped you? What the fuck! Chris yelled making me jump
" I'm sorry baby I didn't mean to yell but that fucker will pay for this.i swear to god if I ever see him I'm killing him." Chris said and I stayed quiet and ate my food
After we ate I helped him clean up then went to my room curling up in bed. Chris came in shortly after and undressed and laid next to me pulling me close..
" I love you davina, don't ever forget that okay?" He said and I smiled softly
" I love you too handsome, always and forever." I said and I felt him smile.
Soon I fell asleep very tired from the past i don't even fucking know how many hours I spent there, but I think Alex won't stop after this.. he's so delusional
