You jump around the house excited to go and meet your friend. Your mother is going to Rockbell household and you want to come, want to know why? Your best friend Winry that is.

Your two older brothers are staying home, that means, no one will baby you and you can play with your best friend all day!

Around afternoon, you and your mother made it to there. Onto your excitement, you quickly ran to their door and knock three times. Once it was open, you saw a happy yet excited Winry waiting for you.

"(NAME)! IVE BEEN WAITING A WHOLE MORNING FOR YOU!!" shout a excited girl as she pull into a tight hug. Your smile grew bigger as you hug bug, squeezing her. You both giggle as the two of you started laughing.

Winry's grandma and your mom started to talk. You didn't bother to ask, or to disturb since your having too much fun with Winry.

A couple of minutes later, you mother stand up from her seat as Winry's grandma follow her gaze.

She walk up to you as she bent down at your size. You look at her in confusion.

"(Name)..." She quietly said, you smiled at her, as she look at you with sad eyes.

"Yes mom?" You asked, with a cheerful tone that can be heard in your voice. She looked down as bangs covers her eyes as she spoke.

"Your gonna be staying here with Winry for awhile okay?" She said, your smile grew wider as she said that, but something crossed your mind.

For a while?

You thought, your smile turned up-side-down as you look at her.

"For a while...mom?" You asked, a hint of sadness crossing your words. Your mom stayed quiet as you try your best to stay positive, positive that it won't turn into negativities.

She stands up not saying any words or any reason why would she left you to rockbell household? Is there any other word to describe it? Its hard for you to understand anything that's happening right now. But all you could ask is why?

You were also happy, but at the same time confuse of what's going on. Your maybe a smart kid, but couldnt process of whats going on right now.

You stayed silent as you follow your gaze on your mother who went its way outside the door without saying goodbye. Winry hugged you.

"Wouldn't that be awesome (Name)? You get to stay here for awhile with me!" She cheerfully said as she hugged you tightly, you smiled back as you just let her hug you. But still, your confuse.

~~~Four days later~~~

"(Name)!!" You heard Winry shout outside your room, you sat up from your bed as you open the door to reveal Winry with a wide grin on her face as there were two boys on the background.

You smiled at her, "Yes, Winry?" As you asked, she pull you out of your room as she pull you towards the two boys.

"Guys! This is (Name)! She'll be living here for a while! (Name)! This is Al and Ed! Ed and Al, this is (Name)!" She introduce, you blush cause of embarrassment as you wave saying a silent 'hi'. Alphonse wave back, as the other boy who you presume 'Ed' was just staring at you. You started to feel uneasy...

Winry, who seem to take notice, too an action.

"Edward-"

She was cut off when 'Ed' came towards you, mostly like running towards.

He looked down at you.

"WAAAHH!! IM TALLER THAN HER! HAH! WHO'S THE SHORT NOW HUH, WINRY?" He proudly said as he stand next to you, comparing your height, to his.

An Irk💢Mark appear on Winry's forehead as she smacks Edwards head.

"Ed...I just told you not to be rude!" She shouted, you can clearly head Ed growl as he just 'Hmph!'. You and Alphonse sweat. You look at him, and he looked at you.

For a minute, you two started talking about things. And what you love and what you like.

Winry and Edward who seems to be left out, tried joining you two. Now its Al and Winry who were talking to each other, which left you and Ed.

He looked at you, but you didn't. But you still feel that he's looking at you, then he started to talk.

" I can't believe that I'm actually taller than you!" He said with excitement in his words. You sigh, which made him look confuse.

You stand up, before saying; "Stand up." Which Ed did. He stand up and to his surprise, Your more taller than him in about 5 inches. He was shocked. Totally shocked.

"WHHHHAAAAATTTTT??!!!??"

~~~1 month later~~~

It was about time. And you missed your family, and so is your brothers. Its been a month since you last saw your mom.

You have made a good strong bond with you two new best friend. Especially with Ed. You and him have a lot in common, except that he hates his milk. Tho, its still funny to watch.

Alphonse and you did many kinds of adeventure. Since you two were just in the same age, you two enjoyed your time together.

And for Winry. Of course, you two joined forces to study on Auto-mail. So that, the both of you can go somewhere and eve your dream.

But, right now. You were planing to leave all by yourself to go home. All of them were worried, but then, you assure that you can. You remembered the way, and what train you'll take.

Sad faces can be seen in your friends expression. But, the worst is for Ed. He asked himself a multiple times if you'll be coming back to resembool to be with them. To be with him.

Before you could get on the train, you turn your gaze back at them. Winry who seemed about to cry and Alphonse giving you a sad smile. Ed, End couldn't even look into your eyes,

You ran up to them to give them a warm group hug. Winry starts tearing up.

She doesn't know why, but it feels like your gonna be gone for so long...which she can't bare being without her sister figure best friend.

"(Name), promise us that you'll come back okay?" Ed said, with a hint worriedness in his voice as he tightly hug you, you pulled away smiling,

"Of course Nii-san!" You beamed with a smile, which made Edward smile. That smile of yours will never be a disappointment to him, but, calling him 'Nii-san', was the best thing he could ever hear coming out from your mouth.

"Promise?" He said, making a pinky swear, you smile grew wider as you took his pinky swear.

"Promise!"
