(1)The Military

As you waved off to your friends, Winry wipe every single tears that's coming out of her eyes. Edward also waved off but being the sad one, he didn't have an energy to do it. But still, he smiled sadly at you as the train started to move.

Winry's grandma lend you some money to pay the train. You were so lucky got she let you go off alone.

You pop your head outside the window seeing them talking with sad faces. You sigh,

"I shouldn't leave...but then, I miss mom and dad, and my brothers..." You said as you pull out a book Ed gave you. And you thought, for a 11 years old Ed was pretty short, comparing to a 10 year old girl like you which was kind of funny.

But thinking all the fun stuff you do with them made you sad. It made you regret for a second that your actually leaving them.

~~~3 hours later~~~

You arrived at your town, and the clouds were pretty heavy unlike in Resembool. For some reason, you felt a little unease a 10 year old kid like you walking around town alone making your way home? It makes you look like that you don't have any parents.

You ignore the feeling and start making your way to your house.

after a couple of minutes, you reached your household. It was pretty quiet, which weirded you out.

Aren't you brothers at home? The house should be alive since they're home. You checked your surroundings and its seems like there's no people walking nor coming out of they're houses. You gulp.

What if they're not living here anymore?

You open the door to be meet by a dead silent living room. No big brother fightings, and no signs of your mom and dad.

Until you heard a light whimper that's coming from your big brothers room. You sweat, silently going upstairs.

As you reach it, the door was closed but you can clearly hear someone talking to itself.

"Give them back...!" A weak voice spoke which made your eyes go wide. Its you big brother.

You took a moment before entering, and after you did.

You saw blood...

Everywhere.

You saw you two brother, the other one laying on the ground...

Dead.

"(N-Name)...! N-no! G-get out of here–" he was cut off by a loud scream that's coming out of your mouth

"AHHAH! M-MOM! D-DAD! HYOKO!" you fell down on your back, as you back away the wall hitting your back stopping you to move in panick.

But, before your brother can do anything. White dust started coming out from your head, to your chest, and to your stomach. You started to loose you conscious as you heard you brother curse

A bluish white lightning bust out of the circle making your vision blind as your blooded up brother cover you as he keeps you safe but did something to make you fall asleep

But before drifting off, you saw him doing something only an alchemy can  do in a split seconds.

"Some kids did this Transmutation thing?" Some rough voice ask, you couldn't move. Nor, you couldn't see.

"Hey! The girl is still breathing!" A feminine voice shouted before you felt someone shake you, hoping your eyes will open wide.

"Oh dear...please wake up." Coming from another rough voice. And that did something for you to slowly open your eyes to see a female soldier, looking down at you with worried eyes.

"Are you okay girl?" She asked in some British accent. Your mind is blurry, unable to answer her question. Until you realized you can't remember a thing except for one person

"G-yoko...N-Nii-san..." You stutter out weakly making the female soldiers eyes grew wide.

"Sir! I think the one who did the transmutation is her brother." She reported, some big buff soldier look down at you.

"Poor thing..." He said as he bent down at your level picking you up and carrying you.

"Don't worry child, I'll be taking care of you now..." He said, in a caring way which made you safe in his arms, even tho he's a soldier.

"But, Major–Sir! You can't take this—" before another soldier could finish its words the man looked at him.

"This is (Fathers/N)'s child. I made a promise to him that I'll take care of his child's when he's gone. And I'm guessing this girl is his only daughter." He simply said, walking away, carrying a sleeping figure in his arms.

"But sir! That means she'll be going to the military?" The female asked, the Major nodd he's head, as he walk walking making his way to the carriage.

"This little angel is gonna be training Alchemy skills with Roy. Wouldn't that be great?" He asked the female soldier, she just reply with a nodded and a smile.
