_______________________________________Arabellas POV
The silence in the fancy limo bugs me, so I pull my headphones over my ears and watch the trees pass by.
My names Arabella Fawnshaw, and I'm eighteen.
Since my uncle wants me to be independent, he suggested that I look for a job.
So luckily, a family reached out to me and offered a paying place to stay in exchange for babysitting their daughter.
Therefore ; I'll be studying at my dream school while not having to rent a dorm.
How sweet is that? However, in the world we live in today, with supernatural creatures.. I'm a bit unnerved.
Witches, fae, succubus', werewolves and vampires are hidden among us.I've never met a vampire. Although, I have met a witch.
My parents had me in homeschooling. They made sure I had a strict curfew, and had to meet All of my friends. This was all to protect me from the dangers of the outside world.I've wanted this freedom since...well. Forever.
I listen to Deftones album on repeat until my phone conveniently dies halfway there.
"Ughh, seriously?" I sigh and search my duffel bag for a charger.
My stomach drops when I realise it's not in my bag."What the hell? I'm sure I brought my charger with me..."
I search my suitcase with the same empty results.
"Guess I should buy a new one.."
Sighing deeply, I pull my knees up to my chest.
The limo driver hasn't said a word to me since picking me up.
Ripperoni. His cold gaze in the rear view mirror makes me shiver, and I just pretend not to notice it.
Laying my head back, I close my eyes.

"Miss! We're here." Comes the drivers voice.
I jerk awake, yanking out my earphones.
"Huh? Oh.. sorry."
I shoulder my handbag and step out of the limo, tugging my suitcase with me."Thank you sir."
It takes me only a split second to notice the huge mansion as the limo strands me there.
Its huge. The mansion has statues scattered around with beautiful plant life growing from them, and a large staircase leading up to the big doors.
Making my way up the staircase, I feel mildly underdressed in my casual sundress.Even the doorbell chime sounds fancy...
Minutes pass by with no answer. I ring it again.
"Is this the right address?"
All the sudden, I notice a beautiful violin playing from a distance.
"A violin?" Curiously, I follow the music further into the garden around the side of the mansion and forget about my luggage.
I follow the pathway taking in the beautiful cherry blossom trees and reach a garden of vibrant roses.
In the middle of the roses is what looks to be a young man with soft features, the sunset illuminating his sillouhete and seeping through his silver grey hair. He's playing a song on the violin that's beautiful, yet sad.
Like a creeper; I peek at him from behind a large rose bush.
Moments later, a pretty young girl appears next to him.
He's stopped playing now, and pulls her close into an embrace.I can feel my cheeks heating up...
Why am I still watching..I forget about the thorns on the roses and lean too close, pricking myself on the hand.
"Ouch! Damn it."
Blood trickles down my hand lightly.
