Damn I hate that alarm clock - i say rolling on my bed .
Standing up, memories from last night begin to flash back , and the anger I tried to suppress before going to bed starts resurfacing .
I moved to the bathroom thinking hard ,brushing my teeth and after that taking my bath , what if I went over board ? , I mean I didn't even wait to listen to what he had to say , while dressing up I made a mental note to call him later so we could talk and maybe apologize for yesterday my subconsciousness told me .
So yea today is Saturday what do I do ? I say out loud .
My stummy (I like to call my stomach "stummy",  its like the mixture of stomach and tummy) lol, rumbles out loud ,
I literally ran to the kitchen fried some eggs which I technically finished before it was fried well , and no I didn't eat it raw .
I love eggs , I mean who doesn't?
As I was talking to myself my phone started ringing , I wondered who knew me to be calling me at this time in the morning , picking the call and I knew it was him
Hey - he said
Hello - I replied knowing fully well it was him .
Uhmm is this Erica?
Yea , please who's this again?
Oh I'm sorry my bad its Jacob , Jacob Williams
Oh ohk- I faked surprise
So I was wondering if maybe we could meet up somewhere to talk ?- he asked
Alright but I think I'm suggesting the meet up place this time - I said
Sure no problem -he replied
Alright so is mega delight OK?-I asked
Yea sure -he replied
Alright I'll be there in 15 minutes -I said ending the call .
Oh well I guess faith is on my side
I quickly rushed my food , cleared the plate , made sure I washed them , coz I live alone doesn't mean I'm lazy .
Went to my room , did a little light makeup carried my key and out I went.

At the cafe , funny enough he was already waiting for me I glance at my watch I say silently at least he's 3 minutes early  .
So yea I smiled what did you want to talk about?

He looked like crap by the way , eyes swollen and all those bullshit

Well won't you order something ?- he asked

Oh yea I will , later not now , what did you want to talk about I repeated?

Uhmm I know you are really mad at me coz of what happened yesterday and I just want to say I'm sorry , I had an emergency at home , my sister camsy had a chronic asthma attack and I had to rush her to the hospital because my mum wasn't home , before you say I should've called you , I want you to know that I did call you but your number wasn't going through , here see my phone you can confirm - he said that all in one breath
Oh my God is she okay now ?was all I could come up with at that time

Yea she's stable at least as of yesterday -he replied

I twitched my brows "as of yesterday" he said ,I wanted asking but then I didn't want to intrude in someone else's private life .

But wait a minute -I said,  if you had an emergency what were you doing at precious party yesterday ?

About that he sighed , then looked at me , his eyes looked as though they were begging me to forgive him already .

When my mum arrived at the hospital , he began , she started shouting and crying asking me why I didn't call her earlier and I wasn't in the mood to listen to her rambling about how I think only about myself , don't have a care in the world , well to cut the story short I left and I needed air so I let my friend take me wherever and I landed at the party , I didn't even know who hosted the party .

Alright then I said , but you should have at least sent me a text message or a flash message don't you have the true caller app on your phone ?-  i asked

He started laughing , I was confused , did I say something funny?

Lol no , its just , I'm a tech guy and you're asking me the most obvious question  he said shaking his head

Oh lol I laughed at my self too

Well then he gave his hands , friends ? I smilled, friends, and we shook hands.

Please can we order already , I'm starving -he begged

I laughed ,of course .

So *clears throat , do y'all think Erica and jacob are going to be great friends or become much more than friends *wink, lol sorry for the late update been really busy with final year project and stuff oh well I wouldn't want to bore you , pls vote and comment pls pls pls , I hope y'all are enjoying the story tho , alright laters...........
