You know you can sit down right ? I gave him a puzzled look .

I knew this day was going to come , I've waited for it for a long time , I've felt it , but I tried so hard to deny it , but oh well today is the "the day ", I laugh inside .

"Erica "? he said

Yea ? I answered

You haven't known me for a long time . but I've known you since forever, and I've loved you for as long as I can remember, I love everything about you ,I love the way you call my name, I love the fact that you're my science buddy, I love the fact that you're brilliant, I love the way you talk, I love the way you react when you're nervous and anxious like you are now , lol, I love your lips, God , I love them. I love your eyes , I love that pimple on your face that has refused to let go of you for the past month, I love you , I love all of you, and I know I might not be the perfect guy, you read about in books but I can promise you that I will make you happy for as long as life keeps us together, I'm not saying I'll not make you cry sometimes , but I promise you I'll always be there when you need me in spirit and in body , I might not be your Prince charming in shining armour but I can be your Caleb , and you my red , your Damon and you my Elena, I can be your Jacob and you my Erica .

Please Erica would you be my girlfriend? he asked

I was tearing up , I didn't know that, until I touched my face , I really cannot explain what I'm feeling right now , The boy I admired for a long time , from afar , is currently in front of me , asking me , me , yes me, little me, nobody me, to be his girlfriend? ,

I really can't think straight.

Before I could fathom what I was doing , I was in his arms , my lips on his , and he kissed me back, slowly, gently ,and carefully ,  like I was an egg that needs to be handled with utmost care .

we stood there for a while , in each other's arm, saying nothing , we were just in a comfortable silence.

Jacob? I called .

You know ,I've always liked you , I said shyly ,

Thank you for asking me to be your girlfriend ,

But its just that , I looked away , I'm scared OK, I don't want my heart broken, I don't like the relationships I've been seeing around me, I want a happily ever after , not a "maybe happily ever after", I know I sound stupid right now but it's just what I feel , can you promise me that jacob? ,can you?, I don't want to be with you for just one month or two, you say you've loved me since forever , what if we start this relationship and its not what you want?, what if you leave me broken hearted?, what if?,huh jacob ?, what if?.

Erica, I get you , I understand you, Erica being in a relationship is not all roses and cherries, and ice cream and all the sweet things , being in a relationship requires two people madly in love trying to make it work, Erica I'm ready to go through that whole process, struggle, and everything it takes to be with you, Erica I've loved you for eternity I don't see a single reason why I'd stop anytime soon or ever .

Erica , he called with soo much sincerity .

I love you soo much , I cant think straight without you , you mess up my brain but you give me bliss at the same time, but Erica the question here is "are you ready to embark on this journey with me even though we dont know what  tomorrow holds?.

I sighed , looking at him , I could see soo much love in his eyes , I dont just get why I'm scared , I really dont ,but oh well , they say follow your heart , and right now my heart is screaming Jacob .
I love you Jacob, and I'm ready to try and make this work . I said with a smile .

Finally a new chapter , sorry guys , I'm really sorry, I know y'all hate me , I've just been busy writing my final exams , and yea *dancing , y'all are looking at a graduate ,*blushing , ok , guys I hope y'all understand , and I really want to say a big thank you to everyone who has come this far with me on Jacob's and Erica's journey, it really means a lot to me , tan chu*smilling *taking my bow .
