Chapter 18

I was still in the hospital trying to relax and cope with all the pain physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Ashley, Cam, and Toni were napping on the couch. They've been here everyday with me.

I truly appreciate all of them. I don't know how I would deal with this on my own.

My phone started ringing and I answered checking the Caller I.D. To be safe.

Its my mother.

"Hey princess how you been?"

"Im good mama." I rolled my eyes.

"Im coming to Atlanta tomorrow I want to talk to you, so I need you to pick me up from the airport." I was shocked.

"Why such short notice? I don't know if I'll be able to pick you up."

"Thats fine have Jacobi do it."

"He wont be either ma we're both pretty busy."

"Just give me your address I'll catch a cab to your place."

"Im staying with Jacobi I need to check with him and make sure thats okay."

"Your making excuses because your still mad with me. I thought you would be happy I'm coming to Atlanta." She sighed.

"Its not that ma I have a lot going on in my life right now and this is such short notice."

"Alright Marshayla I gotta go." she hung up the phone.

I sighed I didn't mean to hurt her feelings but I  am still mad. Right now is the wrong time.

If I told her Jacobi is in jail she would ask why. Then I would have to tell her everything.

She'll hate Jacobi and try to talk me into leaving him. Thats not going to happen.

I'm under alot of stress. The doctor told me to take it easy or I'll miscarriage the baby.

Cam woke up and got in bed next to me.

"How you feeling sis?"

"My shoulder still hurts but the medication is keeping it down."

"Besides all that how are you feeling about everything going?"

"Honestly its stressful one minute Im happy and then everything around me comes crashing down."

"Yeah things are bad but with the life Jacobi chose this is what comes with it."

"I'm not use to this I don't like this happening while I'm pregnant. I don't want to raise my child around this."

"Who would? Maybe when Jacobi realizes he has a child to raise he'll give it up." I shrugged.

"Hopefully, I don't know if I can deal with having to worry about my families safety."

"You shouldn't have to but right now you need to recover and focus on you and the baby."

"Yeah your right."

"Once you have the baby and get adjusted we're going out girls only and we gone Turn Up!" I laughed.

"Im serious we all need to have some fun."

Ash and Toni woke up and looked over at us like what the hell.

"What ya'll looking at?" Cam asked

"You the one screaming turn up." Toni said making us laugh.

"Your getting released in two days right?" Ash asked.
