Vkook Oneshot: A Moment In The Library

Taehyung had always been a handsome man everyone drooled over. His completion resembled that of a God. A perfectly sculpted jawline accompanied by a set of glowing-white teeth. It was pure bliss to see his flowing, brown hair move in the natural wind as his enticing, brown eyes gazed over his perfect plump, heart shaped lips. Most people expected him to become a model, or an idol of some sort.

But Taehyung was more of a studious chap, who loved to read. He often visited the old, worn out library in his town. The odour of the place reminded him of his childhood. It was the only place where he felt tranquil. The soothing atmosphere, and the stillness of time.

He could hear the sharp flicking of pages being turned as he walked through the bookshelves, admiring each masterpiece. His long, and thin fingers glided through the books before he stopped on an interesting title.

'Les Fleurs Du Mal'

The title was written in a triumphant bold and the authors name written underneath in a more shear silver. Taehyung gently pulled the small book out of its place amongst the other books.

"It's a classic" A soft, balanced voice calls out from behind him. With a swift and almost motionless turn, Taehyung faced the man who had spoken. He shyly smiled and moved his head trying to nod. He wasn't used to people talking to him in the library, nor did he necessarily want to interact.

"I haven't read it." He carefully turned the light book around to read the blurb.

"It's a compilation of poems, I think you would like it." He gave Taehyung a closed eye smile before he turned his head around. His soft brown hair seamlessly bounced as he stepped towards the dusty shelves.

"This one-" He paused as he raised his arm, showing off his well toned muscles. He reached for another book and grabbed it swiftly. "-Is also a classic." He huffed slightly before he handed Taehyung another book with a simple matte finish and a brilliant shiny title on the side.

Taehyung didn't know how to react other then cautiously taking the tremendously thick book from his hand. The grin never left the mans face as Taehyung admired the book.

"Thanks, I'm sure I'll enjoy reading it." His words were indeed sincere. It was like the mysterious man knew exactly what kind of book Taehyung liked to read. Powerful, passionate and well written stories that indulged and intrigued him. Books that made him nervous to the bone. Creative and insightful stories that grasped onto him until the very last word. These were the type of things he looked for in books, and this man had picked out the perfect matches.
