I heard it.Her voice.Thats What woke me up,and stopped the water from completely drowning me,killing me
"Wake up"Her voice sounded like heaven,the heaven I've been missing
I quickly grabbed my bag and walked out of the water before collapsing and I seen her face.She smiled at me.I had to keep going
I took off my soaking wet vest and lifted my shirt.Blood.I dragged myself to the edge of the water and put the grass on the wound.It hurt
And that's when I seen him.One Of the blends,the one that chased me.He was on the bridge looking down at the water.I quickly grabbed my bag and ran,holding my wound
I didn't stop running,or at least trying.Especially when I heard the deep growls from within the woods.I leaned up against the tree and removed my hands from my stomach.There was more blood,and then I heard twigs snapping.I looked behind me and saw the same damn blend.
Sarah would absolutely hate him.Then I made the decision to stay hidden under the water,it would keep me hidden for sometime
As soon as I knew he was gone,I stuck my head up and looked behind me and seen the make shift raft.I quickly climbed on top of it and looked at the sky My eyes were droopy and that's when I seen her
"Sarah"I mumbled as I replayed a memory in my head of us
She giggled as she pushed me on the bed.I smiled because there was nothing better than seeing she was happy.
We were both half naked as we kissed under the sheets.The moments where it was just us,were the moments I savored the most.It was the slow kisses that were reassuring,especially in the apocalypse.
