***Cole POV***
I opened the door and led Nicole inside.
"I apologize in advance if my mom embarrasses you..." I admitted.
"It's ok. I'm sure they're as nice as they sound" Nicole said gently.
Well... Home sweet home.
I led Nicole to the kitchen, and tried to quickly led her to my room before my mom co-
"Welcome home sweetie pie!" My mom said enthusiastically
I groaned.
Nicole was walking a few feet behind me. A few seconds after my mom came she walked around the corner.
"Wow, you have a nice ho-" Nicole started, not noticing my mom
" Oh Coley boo! Is this your girlfriend?!" She said hopefully, while cutting off Nicole.
"Mooom! This is not my girlfriend! She's just a friend. Her name's Nicole." He blushed
"Oh well, if you are interested in Cole, don't be afraid" she winked at Nicole. She continued, but talking to me this time. " And Cole, if you do like her, go ahead! She's quite beautiful"
"Why, thank you Mrs...?" Nicole said
"Oh just call me Heather, sweetie." My mom replied.
"Ok well, we're gonna go now... Bye mom." I said
"Bye honey! And Bye Nicole!" My mom responded.
***Nicole POV***
We headed downstairs towards his room. We reached his room after two sets of stairs. His basement was huge. It had a flat screen tv, a couch and a recliner in front of it too. Then they had a spare bedroom,his room and a bathroom.
He led me into his room. His room was also pretty big, well bigger than a normal room.
"So um... Yeah that's my house. Feel free to find a book or whatever" he explained awkwardly. " I'm gonna go take a quick shower... I'll only be like 5 to 10 minutes"
"Ok go ahead. I'm not going anywhere" I responded
He grabbed some sweatpants, a shirt ,a towel, and he walked out of the room. I heard him singing the classic oldie, 'Sweet Caroline'.
" Sweet Ca-ro-line, Bum bum bum! Good times never seemed so good."
I kept sitting on the bed until I heard his singing disappear. Once I'm sure he's in the bathroom, I start looking around. I look at his bookshelf. A few interesting titles, but not many.
After looking around in his room for a few minutes, I hear him coming back. I immediately rush back to where a was sitting, take out my phone, and pretend to be texting someone, but really having the camera on so I can see him without looking up.
He walks in and I saw him as something I thought I'd never see him like, considering my first impression of him.
Cole had walked in shirtless and only a towel hanging around his waist (wrapped around him of course), despite the fact he grabbed clothes.
"Hello" he said calmly.
"Hi" I responded, without looking up. And also trying to hide my surprise.
After a minute or two of silence, I looked up. I gasped a very small gasp. He had a (very small) tattoo beside is belly button. I couldn't really read it because the font was totally un-readable. Also while I was looking around, I saw that he has contacts of his bedside table and some normal (aka non-fancy) clothes. Hmm... That makes me think....
Mwahaha cliffhanger sorry😄 #sorrynotsorry I wanted to post a chapter soon bc wattpad was glitching (so I couldn't update) but as I was writing this I thought: "should i just do a short, cliffhanger chapter or make them wait longer for a non cliffhanger chapter?" So I went with number 1😄. Bai👋
