Hey sorry I took a bit to answer, I'm at a friends house.
I sent the text cautiously and nervously, considering she might ask who it is.
Cole approached me slowly. It was kinda weird to be honest.
"Who are you texting?" he asked, making every syllable precise and perfect.
"Um... my friend. Alli. I was sitting with her when you thanked me nervously for helping you." I started to talk faster than normal which I do when I'm nervous...
"Oh ok" he said plainly. He continued. "Anyways, can we talk?"
"Um sure..."
"So...um... I don't know what to say right now... erm..." He mumbled nervously. Again he continued. "So...um...I...uh... Ikindalikeyou" He finished rapidly.
"Sorry, what did you say?" I said awkwardly.
"You know what? Never mind. Just never mind I'm sorry. You should go..." He said, trying to hide his sadness.
I felt my phone buzz, I ignored it for the moment.
"Um okay. Okay bye Cole. Thanks for showing me your house" I said, somewhat sad.
"Umm... Yea bye Nicole. See you in school"
I left quickly. I felt a lump in my throat. Why though? Do I like him? Ugh I don't know!
I texted Alli to let her know I'm coming over.

Hey, I'm coming over right now. See ya soon.
She answered right away.

I got there in 3 minutes flat. She greeted me with a friendly hug and a warm smile.
