"Is something going on between you and Travis" I asked Tayrn as soon as I sat down on her bed. "Eww no. what would make you think that" She asked making a scowled look appear on her face but she quickly wiped It away before It could marinate. "I was just curious about that" I said knowing damn well I wasn't curious one bit, "mhhh k" Tayrn said reaching Into her bag that sat on her desk for are homework we got assigned to do. "Tayrn before we began I just wanted to state that I could potentially need your help more then one time" I said staring down at my math book, to say I was embarrass would be a understatement . "That's okay. If you need help just ask me." Tayrn said reaching In front of her to grab my shoulder, "thanks" I said looking up seeing such a bright smile on her face. I'm so thankful to have such a wonderful friend like Tayrn, she would never judge or Ignore any of my problems or anything I'd tell her. She'd always do nothing but listen and give advice. Right about now I'd be over at Travis's house doing homework like I did the other week and  a couple years earlier but I decided It wasn't a good Idea to do It anymore even though we had originally attempted to try It out. I took In a breath as I skimmed threw all the pages that I turned to In the big math book, all of It was confusing to me. It felt like I was reading Chinese.

Sure I wasn't dyslexic but judging by the way I'd do and look at my homework you'd think a different thought. "Need some help" Tayrn asked startling me by the sudden break of silence, "yes I do. Was It that obvious" I asked laughing of embarrassment. "Yes It looked like you were constipated" she said laughing harder, It felt like my cheeks were on fire. "Okay then let me take a look" Tayrn grabbed the book and pulled It from my thighs making the book slide against my knees as she dragged th book. "Oh I see where your confused" Tayrn said continuing, "It's 4/8 and 3/6" she said naming out the answers to the percent of  50. "But how Is It both" I asked still confused, "because 4/8 and 3/6 are both 50%" she said trying to hold back a laugh that won't to roll off her tongue. I took the calculator and entered the fractions expecting her to be wrong but I wasn't surprised when she was right. "Thanks" I said redeeming my book from her arms. "Text me when you get home this time" Taryn yelled when I saw my brother's car  wildly drive up to her driveway," I promise I will this time" I said sitting down In the passenger's seat. "Trevin what's wrong with you" I asked eager to know, "what makes you think somethings wrong with me" he asked squinting his eyes at me before turning them back to the road In front of us. "Because when your mad and drive you tend to speed" I said remembering the speed limit sign we pasted about 2 minutes ago, It read 35 mph and my brother was going 65mph.

My brother was gripping the steering wheel so hard that you could see his hands turning  bright shades of read and yellow. "Are you going to tell me what's going on" I asked annoyed that he continued to Ignore me and while he was choosing to risk are lives. "Yes later" Trevin semi yelled at me, I was shocked. Sure my brother yelled before but never had he Ignored me when It came to his driving In any type of way or form. I knew something was up but I couldn't wrap my mind around what exactly It was that caused him to act so mean towards his only little sister. "So what Is It" I asked flopping on the couch bouncing a little after Impact, "not now" Trevin said steering his body towards the stairs. "Really so your not going to tell me" I asked I couldn't believe him at this moment, this was a first. He'd usually blurt everything out at once and I'd have to tell him to talk a little slower but right now he was doing the opposite. "Nicole please don't" Trevin said, he was calm no. I stared at him for a moment observing the way his tall muscular figure seemed more deflated  then It's normal buff form or how his eyes appeared to look as If they were sagging or drooping. To say he wasn't looking his best right now would be a understatement. I gave In knowing I'd be lying like hell If I said I was still going to get something out of him tonight.
