"Nicole babe" I yelled running up to her In the hallway she was with that Travis guy again. "Kendrick what Is It, I was about to head to Travis's house," she said pointing to Travis who stood awkwardly while scratching the back of his neck kind of like he was nervous or scared. "Why do you need to go over to his house," I asked her suddenly feeling a little jealous especially cause we barely were able to spend time together lately but she has time for him. "Because we have a project to do together" she said flicking me In the nose, "I still don't see why you need to go over to his house,why not just get It done while your at school" I asked her wrapping my arm tightly around her waist pulling her closer to my body while eyeing Travis up In down. "Because were to busy doing work are teacher gives us, Inplus It's an out of the class project" she explained to me removing my arm from around her waist as she glared at me. "C'mon Travis let's go," Nicole said pulling his arm as she started walking away from me,"Babe wait," I said stopping her.

"What Is It now," Nicole said sounding Irritated with me, "I can't get a hug and kiss". As Nicole approached me again I reach out and grabbed her waist pulling her Into a tight embrace. I loosened from the hug to capture her lips on mine and as we were kissing I opened my eyes and saw that Travis nigga still standing beside Nicole but when he noticed I was looking at him his face scrunched up In anger and jealous. How would I know your probably thinking because I make the same exact face when Nicole get's around boys who are touchy-feely. I was enjoying the fact that I could piss this nigga off by just doing something as simple as kissing my babe, so being the person I am I wanted to mess with him some more. I sled one of my hands that laid on Nicole's waist down to her butt and squeezed It as tight as I could and looked back up and saw Travis's hands forming fists as If he was about to hit me. "Kendrick what are you doing," Nicole asked me as I felt her breath tickle my neck, "Nothing babe," I said as I smirked at Travis before letting go of Nicole.

I was now back at Travis house for the second time this month to work on this project Mr.Kingsberry just had to give us. "Travis come, come help me please" I need his help on my math homework, we had recently taken a break on the project we had been focusing on for an hour just to work on our other homework or just to relax all together. "What I just helped you 5 minutes ago," Travis said not taking his eyes off his phone, "I know you did but this Is a different problem, I've never seen Ms. Kirkland teach me this or go over It" I explained. "Maybe If you paid attention then you would know how to do It, such a dumb ass," Travis said getting smart with me, I could feel a knot forming In my throat did he really just call me that, did he not think I heard him I asked myself. "Travis how could you say that you know I have ADD" I croaked at him before grabbing all my papers and forcefully stuffing them Into my bag, how could he even act like this he knows how hard school is and can be for me at time I thought to myself as tears rolled out of my eyes and on to my cheeks.

"Nicole that's not what I was trying to say It's just-.." he stopped talking as he tried to think of what to say next I bent down to pick up papers that fell on the floor during all my rushing. I sighed as he started talking again,"I was just-.. wait I was-. I forgot about you know your little mental problem you have" Travis said to me. The anger only grew as he said that, It's the way he was describing me, It made me feel like I was special or some freak. "Wow Travis you saved yourself there" I picked up my bag and wrapped It across my body as I walked to his bedroom door and sped up as I walked down the steps I didn't need him catching up with me. "Damn It" I whispered under my breath when I felt his hand clutch my elbow "Don't leave.. at least not like this, you know how I get when people are mad at me, I just can't take It" Travis explained, "Well. I guess you'll have to learn to take It this time" I snatch my elbow back from him and left out his front door.

<The Next Day>

"I just can't believe he said that maybe If you paid attention then you would know how to do It, such a dumb ass" I repeated feeling my throat start to swell while I shut my eyes tightly not wanting to cry Infront of Tayrn cause If It's one thing she can't stand to see Is someone crying. "I know his choice of words wasn't the best but he meant well," Tayrn said not noticing I was crying by now. "But Iff-f wasn't jj-just that he also said II-I forgot about you know your little mm-mental problem you have". "Aww, Nicole don't cry," Tayrn said putting me In a bone-crushing hug. "You're going to call me as soon as you get out of 4th period right?" Tayrn asked me holding the doorknob to her chemistry class, "I promise" I smiled at her leaving to go to my class. My smile was whipped away when I remembered I'd have to face Travis In this class, you've got this just Ignore Ignore Ignore Ignore I told myself as I approached my desk. I didn't make eye contact with Travis the whole time Mr.Kingsberry spoke I'm not going to lie, It was hard especially when Travis kept turning his head every 5 seconds to stare at me. "Alright guys now since we were able to complete all the worksheets I handed out today you can either work on your project or talk quietly," Mr.Kingsberry said walking back to his desk to grade the worksheets we were able to finish today.

"Hey Nick," Travis said hitting my knee with the back of his hand, I turned my body to the side so he wasn't able to touch my knee again. "Don't Ignore me I don't deserve It?" Travis said surprising me a little, "Stop being rude and say hey to me" Travis semi yelled at me. I could feel my anger returning and Instead of responding to him I raised my hand high In the air and waited for Mr. Kingsberry to notice me. "Yes Ms.Maxwell," Mr. Kingsberry asked me, "can I please go to the bathroom". "Yes, you can remember to take a pass this time", as Mr. Kingsberry signed my pass I wrote I looked up and saw Travis coming towards me. "Please talk to me, I miss your voice" Travis had followed me down the hall to the bathroom, "Go to the bathroom that's why you have the pass," I said walking Into the girl's bathroom. "I'm home, anyone here today" I announced threw the place I grew up In,"Yes sweetie I am," my Mom said appearing In the kitchen doorway. I ran over to her and hugged her, "wow you missed your Mother this much, I haven't seen you act like this since your elementary days" my Mom said reminiscing about the things I use to do In old days.

I stared down at the 5 pages full of math problems and to say I wasn't stressed would be an understatement. I couldn't concentrate more than I normally would have cause Travis stayed fresh In my mind just thinking about what he said made tears border my eyes. "Natasha It was nothing okay I did nothing with that hoe," My brother said clearly lying through his teeth, "that's not what It looked like, her butt was vibrating all over you while you slapped her ass over and over". My Brother and his girlfriend were at It again and It wasn't helping my case. It had suddenly got quiet and I was able to attempt my math work again, that was Into I heard something slam against the wall and Natasha yelling "yes" while my Brother groaned. "Mom you still her" I wondered around downstairs looking for her and was out of luck when I'd seen her note.

I threw the note away and looked around on the counter for the money but It wasn't there. Of course, Trevin had the money and read the note otherwise he wouldn't be up there having sex I whispered slapping my head. I was walking up the stairs about to go confront my Brother about the money, I prepared my self to witness a scene I didn't need or desire to see when the doorbell rang stopping me. I tried to look out the peephole but I was to short to reach It so I took a risk and just opened the door but I regretted It when I looked up and met eyes with Travis, "Hey Nick" Travis said with the pizza and wings my brother ordered In one hand and The soda and cookie pizza In the other. I grabbed the pizzas and wings In one hand and the soda In the other, I'd just handed Travis the money and was about to close the door with my foot when Travis stopped me by pushing the door open wide with his arms. "Ugh would you stop and let me close the door" I yelled at Travis, "Not Into we talk," Travis said.
