A Concrete Love

Now I lay me down to sleep,

Only tonight,  I do not weep.

For you have given my soul peace,

Because you were my missing puzzle piece.

My heart is now complete,

And you have shown me that love can be concrete.

With your love, I grow strong,

Because you gave me somewhere I belong.

In your arms so tight,

You hold me all through the night.

To my relief I feel safe,

And no longer as if I am a waif.
