He tugged his black hoodie around his head walking into the arena, a duffel bag resting on his shoulder. Luke hated early morning practices. He only showed up for the sake of staying on his coaches good side. Hell, he didn't even need practice. He was the star hockey player.

He stumbled towards the locker room, hurrying to get his pads and uniform on. He was one of the last people to get dressed. He cursed multiple times, trying to fix everything before it turned 7 AM. Luckily he made it just in time for the coach to blow the whistle, starting the warm up drills they always went through.

Ella was in her car, on her way to work. To get to the small bakery she managed, it took a good 30 minutes. Her best friend Jasia had passed away, leaving Ella the only person to take ownership. It was a good and bad thing, but Ella loved making cakes and pastries so she didn't mind.

She stopped at a red light and took out her phone, typing out a good morning text to Luke. She had mixed feelings for the boy. She adored him with her heart and soul, but he was a famous guy, not just for being the star hockey player.

Luke moved to Canada two years ago from Australia to join the hockey team. He grew famous because of his hockey skills, but now everyone loved him due to his massive good looks. Ella bumped into him at a gas station over a year ago, when she accidentally left her phone in the store and he followed her home to return it. Being the romantic boy he is, he added his number and text her that night.

Ella and Luke had a history, but thankfully the paparazzi hadn't captured them yet. That was her fear though, Ella loathed to be famous as for Luke, he loved it.
