Chapter 2

"Ringggg-"
I shut off my alarm as I try to wake up.
Another day of school.
Another day I see Jungkook with someone else.
Another day I wanted to sleep and never wake up again.
"Yah! Taehyung-ah! Are you still asleep? Wake up sleepy head. You'll be late to school." I chuckle at my mom's remark.
"Nah eomma. I might take a leave a holiday."
"Yah. Taehyung if you don't get out of your bed I will-"
"Okay okay", I laugh.
"Anyways your friend Jamie, Jimi-whatever his name is, waiting for you down here."
"Eomma Jin,it's Jimin. It is the millionth time I'm telling you this"
"Whatever Jimin."
Their bickering never ends.
Another reason I smile.

I quickly get out of bed and dress up and go down to have breakfast.
"Hey Jimin Pabo", I greet Jimin.

"Taehyung-ah who taught you to swear at your elders?"

"Ma, it-"

"I knew it! Namjoon-ah come here! Is this what you teach your son?! To swear? Come here."
"Was Yoongi.",I whisper.
"What's wrong honey. Why are you screaming? I never taught your baby boy to swear."
"Honey, you can scream my name how much ever you want. But tonight in our-"

Me and Jimin turn around and quickly run out of the door.

"Your parent are very romantic."
"Way too romantic." I say as Jimin laughs.

We arrive to school at the right time.
"Tae, I heard that Kook asked Ji-"
"I know." I sigh.
"I was the one who told him to."
"Are you out of your mind Tae?! You should not have been doing this Tae." Jimin shouted.

"Hey Hyungggg", I hear Jungkook's voice. But he didn't seem to happy.
"Guess what? Ji-eun agreed to go out with me. Yay."
I saw Jimin glaring at him. I pinched him to give him a signal to stop overreacting.
"You look a bit sad Kook."
"Huh?! No. Not at all. I'm really happy." He replied.
I've known you for too long. You're hiding something kookie.

❁Jeongguk's POV❁

I was watching TV when someone rang the bell of the door.
"Ugh who is it now?"

"Jimin hyung? What are you doing here? Here, come insid-"
He quickly pulled me out of my house.

"Are you too blind to see how much Tae loves you? Are you? Answer me you idiot. All those signs to show it. All the pain he went through for you,
and you still don't know. Huh?" He screamed at me.
Taehyung hyung like me?! After all the half of the school population is in love with him?!

That is so not possible.

"Stop talking shit Jimin hyung. If he would like me then-"
"Shut up you jerk. I never knew you were so...I just can't say anything. You know him, right? You know what he has gone through right? And guess what you jerk, you added salt to that wound by dating someone else. Not just someone, but his ex?"
I felt the world around me spin.
Shit what have I done. What have I done?
"Hyung, I sorry I didn-"
"Save it Kook." "You've done everything what you had to."

Was I too busy loving Tae without realizing he loved me back?

Was I too busy crying over the fact that he became someone else's and will never be mine?

Was I too busy comforting him everytime he came here with a broken heart and never realized?

As soon as he was going to leave I called out,
"Hyung."
"What now Jungkook?"
"I am leaving this town.Forever."
"Huh?"
I sigh as I explain," Our family is leaving for Chicago. Tomorrow. Dad is getting transfered there."
"I wanted to seperate myself from Taehyung hyung. Forget my feelings. Everything about him if I wanted to move forward."

"Anyhow, I never realized his feelings towards me. Hyung, I'm sorry, hyung." I felt hot tears trailing my cheeks.
I felt his chubby finger lift up my head. "Kookie, look at me." I saw his eyes soften.

"Why didn't you tell me. I'm sorry Kookie. I should have heard you out. I'm sorry."
He engulfed me in a big hug as he pat my head.
"I'm sorry Kookie, I'm sorry." He said.
I felt something wet on my shoulders.
He's crying.

"Hyung don't cry."
"I will miss you Jungkookie."
"Me too hyung."
