Wooden hooves of the horses could be heard clanking on the earthern ground, after all a prince was being tested for his competency of being a king.
Racing down the slope of the hill, with the kingdom's best knight, and trying to win, wasn't easy, after all he was the best.
A man waving a flag, indicating the end of the race course, was where both were heading to.
"You seem to be pretty good at this, Prince. You will prove your right on the throne. I believe," the younger knight commented, keeping up with his best perfomance, slightly overtaking the prince.
"You don't seem bad yourself," "I was trained to this, in a more stricter way than you, prince. After all I'm a knight," the older Prince chuckled at his own mistake.Taking advantadge of the other's distraction, Taehyung whipped the harness of his beautiful Black Arabian horse, reaching the end of the course before the knight.
"Well done, Young Master," Jeongguk bowed down to him and later to the King and the Queen, standing on the side, looking at their son with pride.
"I'm proud of you,my son," the King said as he engulfed Taehyung in a hug. "You did well, Jeongguk," the Queen said with a sweet smile on her face and patted his back.
"Thank you, my Queen.""What is the next round, Minister?"
"It's sword fighting, Sire. It's going to take place tomorrow.""Thank you very much. I will now be leaving for my practice. I would like to have Jeongguk to help me practice." Taehyung said, before bowing down to his parents and leaving.

The tips of their swords held at each other's chins, focusing at each other.
Jeongguk was sure we wouldn't last another minute if Taehyung kept looking at him that way. It was sure Jeongguk was going to lose. But did he ever know how to give up? No. Never.
Taehyung swayed his sword to attack, but Jeongguk replied to it with a stronger defense.
Whatever happened, their eyes fixated at each other.
And, now, Jeongguk lost it. Another blow, his sword fell to the ground. Grabbing the opportunity, Taehyung pulled Jeongguk by his waist, and held his sword upto the latter's neck.
"You seem to be pretty distracted for a knight. How do I know if you should still have the right to remain in the palace?" The prince whispered into the other's ear. Their bodies pressed to each other.
"I-i assure t-this won't happen again, Prince," the younger said, obviously flustered at their close proximity.
Taehyung dropped his sword, and flipped the boy the other way, admiring the younger's face.
He caressed the small scar on the later face, letting out a timy whimper from the other. "Does this hurt?" The other nodded, while Taehyung frowned, making future plans to punish the person who scarred his precious person's face.
"It's fine," "It's not. No one has the right to touch you, except me. Understand?"
"Yes."
Taehyung brought the younger knight's face closer to his, his eyes asking for permission. It was like both were lost in the moment.
Taehyung leaned towards Jeongguk, closing the gap they had between them. Jeongguk's hand held the Prince's face, while deepening the kiss. Pure love, passion poured into it.
They seperated only for a second, getting back together, lips molded into each other, like the two right pieces of puzzles put together. Butterflies weren't felt, those were those for people who a new to the feeling, but the two were deeply in love with each other. They were meant to be. And they both knew it.A/N: forgive me for any errors. I'm writing this at 2 am in the morning. Also forgive for not knowing anything about horses😅
