I'm in a pond near a house. I like ponds. Ponds are my home, especially super muddy ones. I'm Quentin, by the way. I know what you might be thinking, Quentin, why do you live in muddy ponds? Well, to answer the question, I'm not human. I'm a Mudkip. The name came from our habit to 'kip in the mud.' I'm the last of my kind, though. They all got killed off when their ponds were drained for building. I mean, humans need homes, but why couldn't they respect their fellow living organisms? I mean, it's just rude. There are several people in the house near my home. Since I am the last of my kind, I took to wearing human clothes. An orange t-shirt and blue jeans. My skin is blue, though, and I have spiky orange pouches on my cheeks. I wonder what's going on at that house? I hear screaming and see a purple glow flash out the door. Then suddenly, the spikes on my cheeks sense a disturbance in the water (Normally Mudkips sense currents with their head fin but I couldn't bring myself to do it.) and turn around. There is a girl with tall boots laced up pink and purple and purple hair dipped in pink dye, as well as a pink striped shirt (sorry if I get this wrong @BenDrownedLover20 I am doing this on my iPod) and gray pants. She has an axe on her back and she is leaning down, dipping her hand in the water and raising it in the air to feel the wind. Then, though I try to camouflage myself, she sees me. "Come out," she calls. "I won't hurt you." "I can't really believe that with that huge ax," I say sarcastically. I see her green eyes sparkle as she listens to my sarcasm. Then, suddenly, the ax disappears. "Wh-what?" I say, startled out of the water. She smirks at me. "It's called shapeshifting, fish." I give her an indignant expression, climbing out of the water and wringing out my t-shirt. "As an FYI, I'm not a FISH, I'm a MUDKIP.' I say, glaring at her. Suddenly we hear a scream. Then all goes silent.
