A/N
So I decided to write a Choni story! I'm not really sure where I'm going with this just yet but hopefully I will update either every day or every other day. This story might include some Bughead, Varchie, Cheronica and a few other ships but will mainly be Choni!Cheryl's POV
"Clearly, you're in a lot of pain" was the last thing that I heard Toni say. I had answered back with "Feel free to tremble." Toni hadn't tried to speak to me after that and honestly, I didn't like it. I feel guilty. Wait, she's a serpent! Why do I feel guilty? I don't know...
I decided to look for her before homeroom but I didn't have much luck. Eventually I gave up and walked into homeroom slightly late and had no choice but to sit at the front. Around five minutes later, Toni walked in. Two teachers were behind her, presumably making sure that she actually got to homeroom. The only empty seat was next to me and I had heard her say "Actually, I think I'll be okay just standing up."
I looked at her sadly and bit my lip in a guilty manner. She must've seen me because she sat down next to me and said "Hey." I was about to speak but was interrupted by the same pink haired girl. "If you're going to say something rude or sarcastic, don't bother" Toni had said to me without eye contact. "I wasn't going to.. I just wanted to apologise" I said, completely turning to face her, "I truly feel bad."
"I was only trying to be nice! I don't even know why, you're a bitch, Cheryl." This hurt, but I knew that she was right. "I know I'm a bitch and I'm sorry. I shouldn't have judged every serpent based on only a couple and for that, I'm sorry too. And I'm sorry about the Uktena and everything else I could possibly be sorry for" I said, really trying my best to make sure that she knew I meant it. "You shouldn't have said it in the first place! Just because your brother is dead and your father is dead and you almost drowned and you set your house on fire, it doesn't mean you are just allowed to be a complete and utter bitch to everyone there is!" Toni replied, raising her voice.
A tear fell out of my eye and rolled down my cheek before I got up, grabbed my bag and walked out of the class. I don't know what she did or how she felt as she watched me walk out, I just know that she came looking for me.Toni's POV
I found Cheryl about three minutes after she left the class, sitting in the locker rooms. She was sat on the floor with her back against the lockers and her face hidden behind her hands. Even though we were basically enemies at this point, I sat in front of her and peeled her hands away from her face. Her mascara was running all down her face, meaning she looked like she was wearing Halloween makeup. Oh of my bag, I pulled out a makeup wipe and gently started to wipe the black off of her cheeks. She tried swatting my hand away a few times but in the end, I took both of her hands in my left hand. I continued to sort out her makeup and was surprised that she didn't say anything. I tossed the used makeup wipe onto the floor beside me and pulled Cheryl into a hug. I'm not really sure why, I just did.
