Taehyung scanned the room with glowing silver eyes as his breaths came uneven, looking for a pair of red glowing eyes. Everyone too busy to notice as they interacted with eachother, talking and dancing to the music playing. Movement in the corner of his vision caught his attention though and his head whipped to the side.

Jungkook

Said male turned his head and met Tae's glowing stare, and the intenseness of Jungkooks gaze was enough to make Taehyung whimper. The younger watched as the other stalked over to him before crouching down so they were eye level. Jungkook craned his head so his lips were ghosting over Tae's. A soft breath was taken from Taehyung before he whispered "H-hi kookie".

"Hey Tae" He said before chuckling.

Taehyung felt his heart flutter a the sound and was still in somewhat shock when he thought of how Jungkook ended up as his mate. He brought his eyes up to meet Jungkook's and took a sharp breath.

Jungkook was beautiful.

No, Beautiful was an understatement.

He licked his lips unconsciously and Jungkook watched his every move.

"Did you know?" He whispered.

Jungkook nodded slightly before saying "I wanted you to find out too. I didn't just want to do something without your knowing. I waited for you for so long. When I first saw you as a baby, I felt an attraction to you already but I couldn't or didn't know what it was. I'm sorry I didn't tell you Tae".

Taehyung sniffled, feeling bad and Jungkook cupped his face, caressing it. "What's wrong baby?"

"I j-just- why did you wait so long for me? You could've been happy with someone else!" He whined and let his head fall onto Jungkook's shoulder, nose in his neck. Warmth spread through Jungkook's chest at the skinship and moved his hands down to Tae's hips, drawing circles with his fingers on his hip bones.

"I didn't want anyone else. Even before I knew what a mate was, when I saw you, I knew that there was something about you that I wanted to have in my life. That you were someone I wanted....the alpha possessiveness took over too" Jungkook whispered, mumbling the last part.

The alpha suddenly realized that he didn't know what kind of wolf Tae was and curiosity swarmed through his head. Pushing that aside, Jungkook kissed Tae's chin and the younger lifted his head. He stared at the alpha in front of him, taking in his features. Watching as a smile graced Jungkook's face. Tae brought his hand up to said male's face and traced Jungkook's lips.

The older of the two opened his mouth and licked Taehyung's finger when Tae traced the seam of his lips. The omega giggled at the action and smiled brightly, eyes still glowing silver.

"You're ethereal Tae".

That caused Taehyung to blush. He pecked Jungkook's lips before hiding in the crook of his neck. The alpha caressed Tae's sides as he burned that kiss into the memory. It was special to him.

This whole day was special to him.
