Dani's POV
School is out and I'm here with my BFF, Chelsea at Santa Monica Beach. We have been friends since we were 6 and we just finished 11th grade and we are both 16 years old. "I'm hungry lets get something to eat" I said. "Ok what type of food do you want?" Chelsea asked "Umm how about we go get some burgers?" I said knowing it was Chelseas favorite. "Sure!" she said. Then we went to some new burger place that was a few blocks away, according to siri, it just opened last week! So we went in and sat down, "This pace looks really cool!" I said doing a mini dance to the song 'Sirens' by Cher Lloyd that was playing. Chelsea just looked at me and lauhed. " I know! I love that mural!" she said pointing to the wall behind me. It really was beautiful it was a colorful mural of a boombox that appeared to be blasting music, and the sound all had different colors. There were white music notes that stood out from all of the color. The boombox was out on the street in front of a building that was in front of a beach during the sunset. I loved it! The entire idea of it was that if you keep a good look out there are beautiful things that nobody even notices. I love reading art and seing the backround, why and how the artist made it; a lot of my friends say that I just overcomplicate the art, but it doesn't stop me from reading it. A guy came up to our table. He looked pretty tall, he had light brown hair, brown eyes, and a cute smile. "Hey I'm Luke and I'll be your waiter today so can I get you two ladies drinks?" He asked while giving us the menu "Umm can I get a rasberry iced tea please?" I asked "Sure so one rasberry iced tea and one ..." he said while writing down my order "Can i get a Dr Pepper please?" Chealsea asked " Ok so that will be one rasberry iced tea and one dr pepper?" he asked making sure. "Yep" Chelsea and I said "Ok I'll be right back then" he said. He's really cute and he seems nice "You should talk to him." Chelsea said reading my mind, as she usually does. "should I?" I asked. "Yes! Go for it! Start a conversation! Do something!" she said. "Ok, but when?" I asked. "Now! Look hes just sitting there." she said pointing to Luke sitting in one of the booths. "Ok" I said getting up and going to sit at the booth he was in. "Hey" I said "Oh hey" he said back. I didnt know what to say so i just decided to talk about the first thing I saw. "Um so I was wondering do you happen to know who painted that mural?" "Actually yea, he is a pretty cool, talented, good-looking, awesome guy." He said. "But who painted it?" I asked again laughing. "Your looking at him." he said. " Wow really? That is so cool! I love the whole idea behind it how even though there are pretty things everywhere, if you look a bit deeper you will find so much beauty and fun" I said. "You know thats exactly what I was painting about! How did you know?" He said looking at me in awe. "It's a gift" I said, he laughed. I heard a bell ring, it looks like those are your drinks." he said. "yep" i said. " I never did catch your name." he said to me as we walked to get our drinks then bring them to Chelsea and my table. "Thats because i never threw it" I said with smirk. we both laughed, "But seriously whats your name?" he asked again. "Dani, its short for Danielle." I answered. "Thats a pretty name for a pretty girl" he said. I just blushed. After we ate our lunch I actually got Luke's number! 'Today was a good day' I thought to myself. "So what did you talk about? Details I need details!" Chelsea said when we left the restaraunt. I told her everything and she told me that when we get back to my house for our sleepover I need to text him.

Hey guys Red here! So I hope you are liking this story! By the way Dani is played by Nikki Yanofsky, Chelsea is played by AnnaSophia Robb, and Luke is played by Callan McAuliffe. I just finished Final exams yesterday and so today I was planning to just come home and sleep, but I had Cheer practice. Don't get me wrong I love cheer but I also love sleep.... :P lol. Just a few more days of school. Anyways please
