Dani's POV
I gave Luke my address and he said he'd be here soon. I was kind of nervous because I usually just meet people at the place we're going to because I don't want their opinion to change on me whether it's good or bad. Then I heard a knock at the door, "Its for me mom, I'll be back soon" I said up the stairs, "Ok sweetie, don't forget your phone" she said. "K thanks mom" I said before going into the foyer to open the door. " Hey" I said, "Hey, wow you look great" Luke said. "Thanks" I said. We walked up to his his car and it was a 2010 black volkswagen with 170 BHP horse power, 5 passenger seating,and front-wheel drive. "Wow you got all of that just from one look?" He said looking at me from the other side of the car. "What?" I asked "You just said the information to my car." he said. "I did? I guess I might have thought out loud...." I said. We got into his car, " So you like cars?" he said " Yea my uncle is a mechanic and I used to love going to help at the shop and I picked up a few things" I answered "That's pretty cool." he said. Once we were at the carnival we bought tickets, and decided what to do first, a roller coaster. "Yes! I love roller coasters! Oh can we go on that one?" I said pointing to a really big roller coaster that went in 4 loopdeeloops. "Yea looks like fun" he said, but I could tell he was nervous. Before we got in line I noticed that luke was looking even more nervous, " Are you sure you want to ride this ride?"
Lukes POV
I really honestly didnt like roller coasters, but I saw the excitment on Dani's face and I didn't want to dissapoint her even if it was a little thing , plus I was a bit scared. "Are you sure you want to ride this ride?" Dani asked pulling me out of my thoughts. "Umm yea. It'll be fun" I responded. "Ok, this one is the biggest one here so I was just checking." She said. "Oh cool" I said beacause if I could survive this one then everything else would be ok, I hope.
We gave the lady working the tickets our 4 tickets and walked up to the roller coaster. "Which seats do you want to sit in?" I asked Dani. We were the first ones there and I was really hoping she woulnd pick the ones in the front. "Umm how about that one?" she said pointing to the seats in the middle, "Ok cool" I said. We got into the seats and pulled down the safety... thing.... After Dani pulled down her safety thing she said, " Seat.. thing, so we can be safe" with a Dora voice. We laughed and as other people walked by that heard laughed too. "But honestly are you absolutley, completely, infinitly, beyond, 100% sure that your ok with riding this ride?" Dani asked. I knew that she could tell that I was nervous, lets face it I'm not a very good actor. So I took a deep breath, "Well it's too late now" I said with a small chuckle. " Why didn't you say anything earlier?" She asked "Because I saw how excited you were when you when you saw the roller coaster and I didnt want to ruin your excitment. That and I guess maybe I was a bit embarressed to tell you that I have never actually been on a roller coaster..." I said. "Ok I understand, but next time if you dont want to do something just tell me, dont be embarrassed." she said. Wow I must sound girly to other people walking by, but I was happy that she understood. "I'm just a bit nervous, because it's my first roller coaster and all." I said. "Don't worry it'll be fun." she said with a smile.
