17 Months Old & 7 Months Pregnant

This pregnancy have gone so fast. I'm already 7 months pregnant. And Noelle is the sweetest little girl ever. Every morning she kisses my belly and says Baby Brother. It's so cute. I can't handle it.

We are going to have an ultrasound on the baby today. I'm so excited. Hopefully we get to hear the heartbeat today.

We dropped Noelle off at Tom's parents house and drove to the hospital.

We sat down and waited for our nurse. Tom took my hand and kissed it. A sharp pain appeared in my stomach. I squeezed his hand and he looked at me weirdly.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Uh huh. He is just kicking I think." I said and he nodded. He kissed my lips and smiled.

"Savannah!" I heard the nurse say and we stood up and followed her.

"Hi." I said and sat down on the bed.

"How have you been?" She asked with a smile. We changed nurse. I couldn't stand the last one.

"I've been good. We choose a name." I said.

"Oh how exciting! What are you going to call him?" She asked.

"Kevin." We said and she smiled.

"What a beautiful name." She said.

She put some cold gel on my belly and the picture of our baby showed on the screen.

"Do you think we can hear the heartbeat?" I asked and she nodded.

"Yeah sure!" She said. Her face suddenly turned serious. She looked and looked on the screen.

"What? What's wrong?" I asked nervously. Tom took my hand.

"I'm just going to get the doctor." She said and walked out.

"Something is wrong." I said.

"No she probably is new and have trouble reading the screen." Tom said but to calm me down but deep inside he also knew that something was wrong.

The doctor came in and sat down and looked at the screen. He turned and looked at us.

"I'm so sorry to tell you that we can't find a heartbeat on the baby. He is dead." He said and looked at us with compassion. My whole world falled apart.

"What?" Tom said and tears streamed down my face.

"I'm so sorry for your loss." He said.

"I will leave you two alone and then we talk about how we will proceed." He said and left the room. The nurse followed him.

I'm so sorry love." Tom said and hugged me tight.
I couldn't say anything. I just cried.
We sat in the room hugging each other crying. After an hour the doctor came in again.

"Hi." He said and sat down. I dried the tears.

"You got two chooses now. Either you continue the pregnancy and give birth to the baby or we operate and take the baby out." He said. I already knew what I wanted to do.
