Disclaimer: I do not ownanything related to The Vampire Diaries, TV show or books. However Idecided to have a little play around with the characters (I woulddefinitely like to play with Damon).
Warning for smut and bad language.
I must admit, this is my first attempt at writing anything smutty.I didn't expect it to be as tough as it was. I hope I've done thescene involved enough justice.
Elena walked into the parlor and sat down on one of the couchesnear the fireplace. Damon headed over to the wet bar and poured somewhiskey, when he made it back over to her with two drinks in hishands, offered her one of the glasses, which Elena accepted.
Elena sighed. "Thanks." she said as she took a sip fromthe glass prompting a confused look from Damon.
"I was being polite." Damon joked as he sat down next toher. "I thought you hated whiskey."
"Caroline hates me." Elena explained
"Welcome to the club." Damon smiled as he held out hisglass out, she clinked hers against his, then they both took anotherdrink.
"Jeremy can't live with me." Elena continued. "Stefanwants to fix me, and Bonnie has practically disowned me for the way Iacted at Whitmore College. I think it's safe to say that I'm not sogreat at this vampire thing."
"You want to know what I think." Damon asked softly.Elena looked at him nervously, curious to know his thoughts, shenodded her head slightly. "I don't think I've ever seen you morealive." he said offering her a genuine smile, which caused Elenato blush.
They stared at each other for a moment. Elena smiled, happy thatat least one person other than Jeremy and Matt was still okay withher. Fortunately for her, it was the one person in the world whomattered to her the most. As she looked at Damon, she realized thatnow was definitely the right time, they'd already waited too long tobe together. However, Elena knew Damon would never initiate anythingbetween until he knew for certain Elena was ready because regardlessof his reputation, Damon could still be the gentleman he was raisedto be when he wanted to. That meant it was up to Elena to take theinitiative and make the first move.
"That dance that they did today kind of reminded me ofwhen..." Elena began.
"When we danced together." Damon finished her sentenceand smiled.
Elena nodded. "I wanted to dance with you today." Elenasaid lowering her eyes shyly.
Elena looked back up at Damon, through her eyelashes, trying herbest to flirt, hoping Damon would take the hint. Fortunately forElena, Damon could read her like a book. Placing his glass on thecoffee table, he took Elena's glass from her hand and also put thatone down on the table. He stood up and offered his hand, in a gesturefor her to join him. She smiled, feeling a little nervous but shetook his hand and stood up. Damon led her over to the front of thefireplace, took her other hand and lowered his right hand to herwaist, as Elena placed her free hand on his shoulder.
The only noise in the room was the sound of them breathing and thecrackling of the fire. Elena looked up at Damon, meeting his gaze, helooked back at her tentatively as if asking for her permission tocontinue, she smiled in response, giving him the go ahead as theyslowly started to dance in silence. They continued to gaze into eachother's eyes as they danced in a circle, Elena felt like she wasgetting lost in his pale blue orbs which were currently filled withwhat could only be described as a loving desire. As they both beganto relax into each other, they rested their heads together. Elenaclosed her eyes and inhaled his scent which immediately calmed hernerves for them to be replaced by heat pooling in her stomach. Elenafound herself fighting an internal battle. She'd never felt morecontent in her entire life, and in some ways she didn't want it toend, however being in his arms was enough to make her incrediblyturned on and she knew Damon would know because his vampire senseswould be able to pick up on her arousal just as easily as she couldfeel the hard bulge in his trousers.
