~Chapter 1- Humans and Zombies~

«3rd person POV»

Things are finally getting better between humans and zombies, and of course between the girl and the zombie. She is back on the Mighty Shrimp Cheerleader Squad and he is the most famous football player Seabrook High school has ever had. Nothing could be better. Oh...and that big fence between Seabrook and Zombietown it's gone. People are not scared of zombies anymore.
The Bands were improved and now, some smart humans are taking care of them. Actually, they kinda control zombies. I mean they could. If they wanted to. But no...what am I talking about? Humans are good, right?

«Addison's POV»

Hi! I was just getting ready for the football match today. It is the biggest match we have ever had and there are going to be a lot of people. But i'm not scared anymore. I'm not scared to be seen because this is me. I love my hair now ( I wear my wig very rarely). And Zed loves it too. He actually was the first-person...I mean zombie...to tell me that I look beautiful. And that's why I love him. Because he doesn't want to be like someone else. He likes being different.
I took a last look in the mirror, I took my backpack and I left my house, after I said goodbye to my parents.

"See you there, mom and dad!"

"See you there, sweetie!"

I'm was supposed to meet Bree at school, in the girls locker room to get dressed. She's never late. But now she is. I looked for her in some of the classes and at the cafeteria but no sign of her. So I decided to change into the Mighty Shrimp Cheerleader uniform.
I leg the girls locker room and I went outside on the field to see how many people have arrived. Not many, but the other team has. They came with two or three school busses. They had no zombie in their football team and no girls with white, shinny hair in their cheerleader team. I guess that's good, right?
I wanted to leave, but someone stopped me. I turned around and I saw a boy...he was like 16 with brown-blond hair and not very tall. He looked at me like he has just seen a ghost.

"Hi!" he said, raising his hand. "I'm Liam."

"Addison." I said shaking his hand.

"You're in the Seabrook's cheerleader team, aren't you?"

"Yes..."

"I love your hair, by the way."

"Thanks." I said smiling."

"Liam! Who is that freak you're talking to?" a boy from his team said, coming towards Liam and me, with the whole team.

My smile dieys. I just realized I made a huge mistake by coming here. I should've just wait in the locker room.

"Look at that! What happened to your hair?" a cheerleader said.

At this moment I was surrounded by the opposing team.

"I was born like this." I said looking down. "I can't dye it."

"Uhh...that's gross. I don't know how you can live with it like this."

Everyone started saying things about my hair...it's too white...it's too unnatural...it's too creepy...and another things that no one has ever told me. I tried to exit the circle that has formed around me but they didn't let me.

"Let me through!" I kept saying but they wouldn't listen.

As I looked at Liam as he backed down, I sae a very tall boy making his way to me. Actually he wad no boy. He was a zombie. Zed.

"Hey, hey, hey! What's going on here? Do you have a problem with her?" Zed said as I hid behind him.

"No, we don't." Liam said.
