JACOBS POINT OF VIEW!

The bright sunshine awoke me from my peaceful sleep. Surprising enough my back never hurt even though I sleep in a tunnel on the public play ground close to the strand. I went for my morning run to the strand and then my usual shower in the ocean. Then I quickly ran to school.

About seven years ago my dad left me at the park and never came back and when he did it would only be to abuse me to let out his anger. So now I'm a senior in high school. I have a job but I'm saving for an apartment so I go to school on scholarship. Once I arrived at Westfield High I entered the school. As I walk down the hallways there's a clear pathway and everybody's starring at me and gasping. You might think this is weird but it's not seen as I'm the schools bad boy.

I don't really know why I have that reputation but I do, I'm pretty sure it's cause of all the scars and bruises my dad gave me so they all think I get into street fights. My thoughts were interrupted by my name being called

" Jake my man what's up!"

Dylan my best friend asked me. Him, jarred and Jonathan are the only kids in this school who aren't scared of me. But that's only because they all tied on second in our badass boys group.

" Dyl I'm good missed you over the holidays. Anyway where's jar and jon?"

I questioned. We started walking down the hallway when he replied

" Didn't you hear, DUDE their out of town just you and me for the next few weeks."

I was about to ask where they were going when something banged into me. With my quick reflexes I grabbed the persons arm before they could fall over but ended up wrapping my arm around the now visible girls waist. She had dark brown hair and glossy green eyes as well as cute geeky glasses........

The girl gasped in shock and pulled away quickly defending herself

" Oh my goodness I'm so sorry I didn't mean to I wasn't watching where I was going I'm such a clutz I got it from my fathers side of the family I'm so so stupid I'll give you my wallet just please don't hurt me I'm not really rich but it'll be enough for at least a new outfit,"

I chuckled at how scared she was but thought it was cute that she used goodness instead of god. Before she could say anything else I replied

" First of all I'm not a mugger so I don't want ur money second of all it was and accident third of all I don't need a new outfit but when I do I know who to come to and fourth of all hi I'm Jacob Algo".

Noticing her jaw drop a cheeky smirk crept onto my face and I put my hand out to shake hers. She first seemed suspicious looking up at me then at my hand several times.

Finally she worked up the courage to shake my hand and stutter a reply

" H-hi I'm L-lucie Sala an-",

before Lucie could finish the bell rang and she quickly ran off such a geek. Noticing Dylan was gone I walked off to my first class. Chuckling on my way in thinking about the unusually weird geek.....
