"Are you buckled?" Nichole looked at me from the corner of her eye.

"Yeah?" I replied.

"Good." She smirked. "Now let's see how fast this baby can go." Before I could protest she hit the gas and we sped off.

"Nichole! You're gonna get us killed!" I warned her.

"Oh calm down, Lexie." We were on an isolated road. It had only one lane on each side. I think we got up to 90 something before she decided to slow down.

"Now that... Was a rush!" She laughed. I joined in.

"Okay, I'll admit it was kinda fun."

"See, you need to start being more dangerous and have some fun." She looked at me for a split second. I saw the head light of another car. It was very sudden.

"Nichole!" I screamed. Everything after that was a blur.

I remember watching Nichole bang her head on the dashboard. I remember that my seatbelt didn't jerk me back, instead I went forward, through the windshield. For a few seconds it felt as if I was flying. I landed on the hood. I closed my eyes, everything was black. I heard screaming and hollering. I opened my eyes again, everything was blurry in my vision. I tried to raise my head but was engulfed in complete blackness.

Was I dead? I had to be dead.

I could feel my head throbbing, my arms and hands had sharp pain from the glass, I felt in so much pain but at the same time, so numb.

Originally this was a dream of mine I had. My name is Lexi, and my friend who was driving's name is Nicole, hence the characters. I just spelled the names different. And finding the picture was just a coincidence.
