It all started in a small town in California, Crystal Tears, named after the crystal clear lake just outside of the town. The high school here, eh not the best really, but it is definitely better than some of the schools in Portland. Well anyway, the high school's name is Crystal Tears High School, go figure right. So, there is a group of friends. They aren't the luckiest people in the world. Their names are David Bell, Isabel Green, Lucy Smith, Alexandra Kane, Jessie James, and I, Chuck Finley. The six of us have been good friends since middle school. I moved down here from Vancouver, Washington, The first person I met was Lucy Smith. Lucy is 5'6, has blonde hair and grey eyes. She is my best friend and the girl that stole my heart. Yes, yes I know, so sweet it makes you want to throw up blood, oh, that's not what you were going to say, well congrats you are the first person not to think that. Her parents, Lexi and Jim Smith are the creators of some dumb clothing line, but of course I would never say that to their face. Lucy on the other hand, I can because she hates the clothing line the same or more than me. Lucy introduced me to the rest of her friends about the second week of school after moving here.
The next person I met was Jessie James, he is 5'9, has a scrawny build with a Mr. Rogers complex, and he also has a obsession with throwing knives. He would always carry a deck of playing cards with him, he would shuffle them for about five minutes then start playing a game of solitaire while having a conversation with someone or in class, he says that it helps him focus. The teachers are surprisingly ok with him doing this because he gets passing grades. The looks on some of the substitutes is funny. Everyone calls him J.J. because, well, both his first and last name start with the letter "J".
The next person I was introduced to was Alexandra Kane. She doesn't like to be called by her full first name so she just goes by either Alex or Kane. Alexandra is 5'3 with black hair that is lightly dyed with a greenish blue color, she is a punk rocker chick of sorts, and I say of sorts because she listens to one pop band called 0.8 Direction. In my opinion, they suck, so they should change their name to No Direction, but besides that one choice of bad music she listens to bands you've probably never heard of like Sirens are Sleeping, or Undead Hollywood and others you probably never heard.
The next person I met was David Bell. This kid is something else I swear, he is gifted in whatever he does. He is great at card games, video games, sports, you name it, he is gunna be great at it. He does not even need to have mastered it before and he is gunna be great at it. He is pretty tall, 6 feet tall, a little skinny, but not bag of bones skinny, he has black hair and blue eyes. He is very friendly also a real ladies man this one.
The last one before I tell you about me is Isabel Green. She is 5'8 and kinda tan and has dark brown hair and is also a little weird . This girl is so smart, she has all A's in her classes, the work she does with the school is amazing, and honestly, it is kind of frightening sometimes. I honestly don't know how she stays sane. Actually that's a lie, I do know how she stays sane. She does something you wouldn't expect, she laughs or giggles which I think is the same thing, it sometimes scares the group and I because most the time when she is feeling stressed or nervous she just starts laughing out of nowhere.
Now the last person of the group, me Chuck Finley. I already told you that I came here from Washington, but I never told you why or anything about me just yet. Don't worry-I moved down here in a good way. My dad got a raise in his job and we had to move down here and I must say it's quite warm down here. But enough about that let me tell you some things about me, I am 6'1 with black hair with a bulky build, but not too bulky just some muscle not a lot, oh and I also have green eyes so if you make eye contact with me you will definitely spot me out of a crowd. Im also kinda nerdy mainly because I play card games and videogames, I am also really book smart so Isabel and I chat about different things about history or different gods different cultures worshipped because we both really liked that part of history.
You remember when I said that we aren't the luckiest people in the world, let me tell you why this is. Lucy gets asked by the "popular" group if she can get them the "hook up" with her latest line of her parents clothing line, the shirts or sweat shirts either have a light blue diamond or what looks like Marilyn Monroe licking a diamond. She absolutely hates the fact that her parents own this company.
JJ or Jessie his parents got divorced when he was in first grade and he has had hard times throughout his life but with the help of everyone we got him to put it behind him but every now and then he feels bad again but he get his mind off it. David has gotten a big problem, and I know what you are thinking how can he have a problem he is great at everything he does what could be wrong with his life? Well the reason he is great at everything is he has a tumor the size of a grape on his frontal lobe and won't live past thirty, he told me that he really liked grapes until he was told this, so he is living life like it's his last day on Earth but he can't do that without his friends now can he.
Alexandra has the problem of people not trusting her and talking bad about her behind her back but we have been helping her so she's just been saying forget them and been focusing on the people who matter to her.
Isabel i already told you what her problem is she is stressed out a lot of the time and has no free time.
And now my problem is just bad luck i've broken my arm in three different places three different times i've been mugged and i've lost one-hundred dollars etc. Well that's how our life was until this week we all got an upgrade in my eyes and i'm sure everyone in my group agrees with me. This a new chapter in our life, a new beginning, a new start, this is our life now as champions.
